About

Pub L'Oncle Antoine operates as a traditional tavern featuring a robust menu centered on classic pub fare and hearty sandwiches. The kitchen specializes in stacked smoked meat preparations served alongside substantial sides that define the casual culinary identity of the establishment. Guests encounter a rustic atmosphere characterized by stone walls and exposed wooden beams that reflect the historical architecture of the building. The drink selection emphasizes a variety of local and imported beers intended to complement the savory nature of the meat-forward dishes. This venue functions as a primary destination for those seeking substantial portions and a focus on established, comfort-driven recipes. The layout supports both small groups and individual visitors who prioritize a straightforward approach to tavern-style sustenance in a focused, character-filled setting.

Small menu but cozy pub vibes were off the charts. Would recommend.

Very cozy pub, great vibe, tons of drink options. Recommend for drinking more than eating if you are looking for more choices than meat & cheese sandwiches because it doesn't really have a kitchen.

Cozy place with good drinks & decent food. We were not too impressed with the meals though as the French onion soup lacked broth & was just 50% cheese. Personally I prefer a bit more broth to make it feel like an actual soup rather than just a block of cheese. Salads were solid though & pickles also pretty good. Croque Monsieur sandwich was not very interesting & just ok.

A cozy bar in Old Quebec! A great selection of beers, & a shot of delicious Quebec maple whisky for $3. We didn't sample the food but would 100% recommend for drinks

Friendly service with cozy outdoor table for two. We just had drinks & enjoyed our ice cold beers while taking in the beautiful charm of this little old street in Quebec. They have board games too :)

Amazing, cozy space, seemingly from the 1700's, to warm up in next to the fire. Food was really good & beer selection is solid. They have games & let me purchase some glassware. Great service.

This place will be hard to top! I had looked it up ahead time & we were so excited to go. The atmosphere was unreal! The coolest historic building I've ever been to. Was so cool to be in a cellar from the 1600's! It's a small place, smaller than the photos make it look, but the bartenders were amazing, so friendly & welcoming! They loved feeding us the maple whisky shots with every beer that was ordered, for only $3, & the long island iced tea was delicious! We had the French onion soup & it was delicious! That's all we are there. I think if you're looking for food specifically, maybe this isn't the place as the menu is limited, but if you're looking for a fun atmosphere, cozy with a fire, friendly people, this is the place! We went back both nights we were there & the bartender remembered us. No bar topped this for the rest of the time we were there!

Quiet & cozy. Had mulled wine & crab cakes. Both were delicious. Wanted French Onion soup, but it was not available. Wish I had more time in Quebec City; I would visit the pub again.
