Terrible service & a remarkably rude waiter. We just stopped in for a single Diet Coke-literally a five-minute visit-& the entire interaction was unpleasant from the moment we sat down. The server had a bad attitude the whole time, but the worst part was when it came time to pay. He made a pointed, awkward remark about how the tip wasn't included on the receipt, essentially trying to shame us into tipping for a five-minute drink. When we asked for his name, he refused to share it. Completely unprofessional & a sour end to our time as tourists in an otherwise lovely city. Would not recommend. We tipped him cash at the end… but felt obliged to do so.

10 out of 10 if you like a hole in the wall divey good time!!
Originally I had looked up to see where in Quebec City had good live music.. we arrived a little late so I don't know if the music had already stopped or maybe we just went on an off night but I am so glad that we stopped in here! Bartender recommended the beer that I had. I ended up having two pints! it's a local beer, St Ambroise Cream Ale!! Amazing!! 15 years ago this is the exact type of bar. I would've stayed that all night had a great time & made friends with the bartenders… They were so sweet & helpful. I'm old now so we cut the night short. Nostalgia vibes are there for real!! Thanks for bringing the memories back

Pub L'Oncle Antoine is one of those rare travel finds that completely charms you with its authenticity & character.

Tucked away on a quieter street in a tourist-heavy area, this pub is set in the cellar of a 270+ year-old building. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, & full of history, exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble upon in Québec City!!!!

It's popular with both locals & visitors, which is always a good sign. The standout? The onion soup. It absolutely lives up to the hype...rich, comforting, & honestly unforgettable...life changing, really. Don't miss it.

Service was friendly & welcoming, adding to the overall experience. A truly unique spot that captures the spirit of the city. Highly recommended.

Chuck was lovely. Great service, good recommendations for places to visit around the town. Recommend for small bites (though the French onion soup was delightful) & pints with side shots of maple whiskey. Atmosphere was chill, games in the back if you want to play board games with your peeps.
