Valérie a été des plus aimable & a eu une très bonne communication lors des préparatifs pour notre souper de mariage que nous avons célébrés chez Il teatro dans un des salons privés. Le service offert par Rachel lors du souper a été plus qu'impeccable. Très professionnelle, elle s'est occupée de tous nos requêtes.

One of the nicest terraces in the city. In front of the stone arch entry to Old Quebec. Nice to have Parisian style chairs, white table cloth & charming setting. The first night we arrived we were recommended Mora Restaurant which was highly rated an absolute disappointment. The food was terrible so we went to our hotel restaurant. Teatro Which was excellent. Great service, better, menu selection, fresh ingredients & flavorful. The following day we had breakfast since our dinner experience was so good & it wasExcellent ! I highly recommend Teatro.
We were visiting from out of town & stopped into this restaurant for brunch - what a gem! The atmosphere was cozy & inviting, making us feel right at home. Our waitress was incredibly sweet & attentive, keeping our coffee cups full (the coffee itself was excellent!). The highlight, though, was the food - the eggs Benedict were absolutely outstanding. I'd highly recommend Teatro to anyone looking for a delicious brunch paired with friendly service.

When we stepped inside Il Teatro, the atmosphere felt like a warm'family?style' gathering-intimate yet lively, with welcoming staff & a cosy, rustic Italian vibe. As a fan of home?made touches, I was impressed by the genuine pasta & sauces made in?house.
The only slight quibble: the dining room can get noisy when full, & dessert options were limited compared to the rest of the menu. A richer selection of sweets would be a welcome addition. The waiter mixed up our orders & was still adamant she was right. That was a bit frustrating & disappointing.
We're from Toronto & visited the lovely city of Québec.
My wife & I dined at Il Teatro for lunch. Our food was beyond amazing. They were kind enough to make my Carbonara Spaghetti (guanciale, pecorino) with an'Arrabbiata spicy' flavour & without cheese. The result was a good as I ever had for pasta meal! I literally scraped my pasta dish clean with bread… it was that good
The entire staff was very friendly , accommodating & courteous.

We recently visited Ristorante Il Teatro at 972 Rue Saint-Jean, Québec, QC G1R 1R5, & what an incredibly cool location! 🤩 Sitting there, you truly feel like you've been transported to Italy. There's a big, beautiful square right in front of you, accompanied by wonderful Italian music & magnificent dishes. It's an immersive experience! 🎶🇮🇹
The restaurant has a really interesting concept. There are two bars-one on the 5th floor & one on the ground floor-plus an indoor dining area & lovely terraces. You can even watch your food being prepared, as there's an open kitchen inside, & you can see everything through the windows. 👨?🍳🔥
The staff is incredibly polite & bilingual. They know the menu inside out & are great at recommending dishes. The fantastic music & refined Italian decor, clearly designed by a professional, add to the charm. We sat on the terrace, & the tables were simply superb, with a beautiful color scheme. The flowers, greenery, & excellent lighting created a perfect ambiance. 🌿🌸💡
The food is delicious-pure delicacy! The portions are very generous, & the presentation is exquisite. Every dish felt like a work of art. 🍝🍕

We stayed at the Le Capitole Hotel & ate at ll Teatro for breakfast twice & dinner once. The staff was wonderful, friendly & the outdoor seating, perfect. I recommend the Tuscan omelette for breakfast & the rock Cornish hen for dinner. Bon appétit
Nous avons été enchantés de notre soirée au Ristorante Il Teatro! Les plats étaient excellents ( très contents qu'on ait remis le délicieux carpaccio de boeuf au menu! 😉), le service avec Rachel était attentionné & la place que l'on nous a assignée, en face de la patinoire & du Palais Montcalm était très appréciée! Donc, que du bonheur! À bientôt & merci pour cette belle soirée!
Hébergement au Capitol & souper au Il Teatro, nous avons adoré notre souper & notre séjour. Excellent service avec Nathan au restaurant. Chambre & suite aux étages supérieures sont exceptionnelles: Luxueuses, hyper propres, vue magnifique, piscine.
We came to Il Teatro twice; once for drinks & the other time for calamari. When we came for drinks, our waitress was very friendly when serving us our drinks. I got an iced coffee which was pretty delicious. Coming back for the food around dinner time was great too; we managed to get a table without a reservation! The calamari was really great, & so was the bread that you receive upon request. Although the staff were very friendly, it was rather difficult to get their attention... I would recommend ordering drinks & food all at once, just to avoid having to wait. Other than that, everything is great' Lovely atmosphere!
