We had a fairly large party & ended up trying a lot of food from top to bottom. Starting with the unlimited coleslaw, we got both the traditional & the creamy. If you're American like myself, you're used to the creamy type. I found it to be a lot less sweet than what we have at home at KFC, for example.

The spicy chicken wrap with fries were delicious, though the exterior wrap was a bit tough - I think I expected a regular tortilla but I don't think that's what I got.

The Pinot noir on hand had some pretty young grapes, which I felt like it was a tad bit sour & the taste was bland - would probably pass on this next time.

We also got the half rotisserie chicken, which the chicken was pretty dry on the inside - dipping it gravy helped but I probably wouldn't order this again.

The chicken nuggets & fries from the kids menu was okay, though the breading to chicken ratio was not great.

I had the layer cake & a doppio for dessert, but I found the top layer to be incredibly difficult to cut even with their steak knife. Ultimately I ended up breaking it apart. The taste was delicious & I really enjoyed the chocolate syrup.

I was so ready to love this place, but unfortunately our food was disappointing 😕 I guess maybe it was because we came to eat at an'odd' hour? - in between lunch & dinner (4pm), so perhaps they didn't have the food freshly prepared. Basically both our roasted chicken & ribs were dry & overcooked, like when you leave the meat in the oven for too long. My chickens skin was all dry to the point that I couldn't really eat it. It's quite unfortunate because I really was looking forward to eating at their restaurant since Im a big fan of their frozen chicken pot pie haha. Maybe next time.

Similar to Swiss Chalet but better. There is a good portion of meat for the half chicken & chicken breast dinners. The chicken is juicy & the gravey is top notch. Fries are pretty plain & the bun is not good at all. But the creamy & regular coleslaw is excellent

First time in Quebec & was looking for a place that is open for a Christmas Eve dinner. Ambiance, cleanliness, service & food was 10/10. Angus beef, shrimps & chicken was cooked just the way we want it. The dessert was amazing - Vanilla cake with caramel & ice cream on top was my favorite. With most of the restaurants in Old Quebec full (hard time to get a reservation) & close for Christmas eve St-Hubert at Grand Allee st was a great find. Thank you St-Hubert you made our Christmas eve dinner so special.🎄🌟

The St-Hubert crispy chicken poutine is not something I would recommend. The tangy, BBQ sauce mixed with the slightly squeaky (though un-spiced) curds, along with the standard fast-food level fries, made for an unappetizing combo. The crispy chicken on its own was decent, & it was an odd idea to begin with, but it still fell short of expectations.

That being said, the service was some of the best we had in Quebec & the atmosphere was nice, clean, & family-oriented.

Very disappointing experience. We live in BC & come to Montreal regularly & now we are in Quebec City. We used to enjoy St Hubert & always had dinner there each time we were in Montreal. But last time the half chickens were dry & unappealing & this time at Grand Allee in Quebec they are also dry. We also waited a long time to order, a long time for the drinks to come & then a long time for the food to come... the coleslaw at the same time as the chicken with no explanation. In addition the sauce was luke warm at best. We complained & replacements were brought which were only marginally better. When we complained again we got an argument & were told it's always like that. Well maybe that is the way it is now but that is not the way it always was & it is not good. Not sure we will bother coming back to St Hubert again.
Aug 29: Management of the restaurant contacted me & asked for details so they could follow up with the staff. They said the experience we had was not acceptable & not up to usual standards. They were very apologetic & made things right. This was very impressive & when we are in Quebec again we will give St Hubert another chance.

Excellent service. Food was quite good & inexpensive for Quebec standard. Try the chicken noodle soup. Nice clean restaurant. Would love to come back again.
