About

Saveurs de l'Inde specializes in the diverse culinary traditions of the Indian subcontinent by emphasizing the use of aromatic spices and traditional cooking techniques. The menu features a comprehensive selection of clay oven roasted tandoori dishes, slow-cooked meat curries, and vegetarian preparations that highlight lentils and fresh produce. Guests encounter a variety of textures through items like crispy vegetable pakoras, fluffy basmati rice, and warm, hand-stretched naan bread baked directly against the tandoor walls. The kitchen utilizes balanced spice profiles to differentiate between mild kormas and more pungent, heat-forward vindaloos. The atmosphere reflects a functional and focused approach to classic South Asian cuisine, prioritizing consistent preparation methods and the integration of fragrant herbs. This establishment provides a direct representation of regional Indian recipes designed for authentic flavor profiles.

0/5 - One of the Worst Indian Meals I've Ever Paid For

I don't even know how to process what I just ate.

Veg Biryani came with SALAD DRESSING on it.
Yes. Actual. Salad. Dressing.

Who in their right mind puts salad dressing on biryani? That's not fusion that's a culinary crime. Biryani is supposed to be aromatic, spiced, layered… not drowned in whatever vinaigrette nightmare this was.

Veg Korma tasted like straight-up sugar. Not mildly sweet dessert-level sweet.

Madras Chicken Curry was basically oil with chicken floating in it. Zero flavour, zero depth, just greasy & rushed.

Aloo Gobi? So soaked in oil it felt like it was deep-fried & reheated three times.

Everything tasted like it was made in a panic, with no care, no seasoning, & absolutely no understanding of Indian food.

This wasn't just bad it was confusing.
Whoever cooked this clearly has no idea what these dishes are supposed to taste like.

Save your money. Save your stomach.
This was hands down one of the worst takeout experiences I've had.

Never. Again.

PS : Uber Eats recommendation engine is garbage.

Came to visit Quebec & thought I'd come to try out some indian dishes. Have to say alot of unique tastes to try out here. Highly recommend the tandoori chicken & naan bread.

Had the chicken biryani, not only was it not authentic at all (had salad on top & reminded me more of a Middle Eastern dish), but it was also blander than bland. I got take out & the man at reception had no enthusiasm & seemed to have no desire to be helpful or pleasant. I understand Quebec City has limited Indian food choices, this particular place is pretty bad, not sure about other Indian eateries in the greater Quebec City area.
