This was the best Middle Eastern food I have ever eaten. & definitely some of the best food I had on my trip to Quebec. We love the falafel, which was the best I've ever tried the skewers, the rice, the hummus, & the pita were top-notch. Imen was the most friendly & welcoming server. Highly recommend.

J'y vais souvent, service super sympa, falafels incroyables, excellent thé.
This is an unassuming, simple restaurant on a busy street near the old city. The only reason I am giving this restaurant five (5) stars is because I cannot give it 6/5. Imen, the owner (& hostess & cashier & waitress) absolutely makes eating here an experience. She is kind & generous & a real people-person. My shish-taouk platter was the best I ever had, the presentation & the taste were amazing. My wife had the vegetarian platter with falafels & it was equally delicious...my wife & I like to eat here every time we visit Québec city.
Incredible food, incredible service. We arrived in Quebec City on Christmas Day, hoping to find the first open restaurant. I'm glad we found this one. The lady at the counter was super welcoming with her'mon ami's & helped us navigate the menu. The food was amazing as well & fairly priced. We ordered the merguez plate, the harira soup, & the falafel. & the tea is a must have. The next time I visit Quebec City, I'm definitely coming back here.
Les falafel étaient succulent & bien chaud. La tajine de poulet était savoureuse & le thé à la menthe, un pur délice. Je vous recommande
Meilleurs falafel !!!! Faits au fur & à mesure, ils sont chauds & croustillants ! Service souriant ! Portions généreuses !🔥
I first went to this restaurant in 2018 (? or 19 maybe) while staying in Quebec City for a conference. I went there for lunch & had the falafel & then I went there for dinner, & then again for lunch & dinner the next day. This was the BEST falafel I've ever had. I went back this summer - I was driving to Halifax from Ontario & went to Quebec City just to get those falafels again. Literally ate at the restaurant then went back on the road. They were as good if not BETTER than I remembered. I got some for dinner & ate in the restaurant & then got some to go as well. Still wasn't enough, I wish I got more. Service was amazing (in 2018 & 2024). The woman at the counter was so friendly & easy to talk to. The atmosphere is amazing, soft warm lighting, beautiful decor, & music that fits the calm atmosphere at the perfect volume.
Not a great place for shawarma as many suggested.. u hardly see chicken grated rather it is already done & heated up & put it in a shawarma.. this is not real shawarma.. with hummus bread given is warm.. don't feel it's freshly made.. place is congested & fans are moved as & when they see you that you finished started talking... Had chicken shawarma, Falfal shawarma, hummus, Moroccan tea.. Falafel shawarma is fresh since falafel need to be done. No parking. One thing to appreciate lady behind the counter to serve is amazing & friendly lady & very interactive..
