Don't judge based off of the reviews. If you enjoy Moroccan & middle eastern food, you should stop here.
We had an amazing experience at Saveurs du Monde. The food was truly authentic Moroccan cuisine, full of original & flavorful tastes that felt homemade & prepared with passion.
The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, & very cozy. The small tables & intimate setting make the place feel charming & inviting. Every dish we tried was packed with rich flavors & beautifully presented.
The green tea with mint along with baklava was the perfect finishing touch, fresh, aromatic, & absolutely delicious.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Moroccan food & a genuine dining experience!
I came here for iftar during Ramadan after skipping two other restaurants because I wanted a Moroccan place. The staff were very nice & friendly, & the atmosphere was welcoming. The food quality was good overall. However, the prices are too high, especially for the shabakia. One small piece costs $3.99 plus tax-I paid about $12 plus tax for just three pieces. In total, my iftar (a small couscous, one bowl of harira, three shabakia, & a small tea) cost around $70. I'm sorry, but that feels too expensive for the portion sizes. I hope you can consider reducing the prices.
I love the flavors. I got the shish taouk plate & it was amazing!🩷 The couscous was so flavourful🩷 I will come back when I am in town! Healthy & delicious! One of the women working there offered me yummy Moroccan tea while I waited by order. Loved it!
Food was good. It's my first time at a Moroccan restaurant. The servers have limited English but very nice & the service is good. I'm only surprised that the main meal is served on a paper plate. It makes the experience ordinary.
For a poutine in Québec (albeit at a Moroccan restaurant), much is left to be desired. The fries were weak & soggy, even compared to fast-food places. The gravy was unmemorable & almost tasteless, lightly dusting the curds & fries. While the curds themselves were barely even curds, chewy instead of squeaky & more rubbery, almost melting, likely being overaged & tasting closer to a condensed slice of cheddar.
The three meats were not too shabby, & the small restaurant was a nice respite from the rain, though with the paper plates, trays, & service, a lower price point may have been warranted.
The lady cooker is so gentle & such a great welcoming with a beautiful smile, the food is so delicious, i recommend to anyone who wants to try the Moroccan food
As a moroccan, c'etait INCROYABLEMENT bon tbarklah 3lihom saraha . Vraiment accueillant comme endroit très bonne ambiance & la musique mn oum koltom n fayroz … tout les classiques . Je le recommande franchement, une expérience à refaire! 10/10 ☀?
Fast casual Moroccan restaurant in a vibrant neighborhood. Friendly & quick service with excellent food. I highly recommend the lamb tagine & their merguez sausages. Pairs well with a pot of mint tea.
