In early April 2022, the fourteenth SHAKER Kitchen & Mixology Restaurant & Bar opened its doors to start the year off right! It is in the former location of Bistro Plus located in the heart of Old Quebec that the newest member of the chain has taken place, more precisely at 1063, rue St-Jean.

With its 180 seats, its 40 seats at the bar and its magnificent terrace located on a cult street in the city that is pedestrian during the summer season, this branch has everything to seduce you! J'ai mangé un tartare dans ce restaurant, mais mon expérience a été gâchée lorsque j'ai visité les toilettes en fin de repas. Non seulement la porte ne barrait pas, mais il n'y avait plus de papier de toilette. Pour un établissement qui sert du tartare (un plat qui demande une hygiène irréprochable), le manque d'entretien des sanitaires est très inquiétant. Si j'avais vu l'état des toilettes avant de commander, je n'aurais jamais mangé à cet endroit.

Une expérience déplorable : il leur a fallu plus de 40 minutes pour nous apportez notre commande, alors que le restaurant était pratiquement vide, dans un endroit où l'on ne sert que des hamburgers... La serveuse ne nous a pas demandé si nous parlions français & s'est automatiquement adressée à nous dans un espagnol approximatif ; elle nous a demandé nos pièces d'identité... alors qu'il était évident que nous étions tous majeurs. Je ne remettrai plus jamais les pieds dans cet endroit.

J'ai l'habitude d'aller dans les shakers à Québec city, mais aujourd'hui j'ai eu un service EXCEPTIONNEL de la part d'Elise au shaker du vieux Québec.
Son sourire, sa gentillesse & sa douceur nous ont accompagné durant toute la soirée.
Le Service mérite 6 étoiles sur 5 juste grâce à Elise.
La nourriture parfaite comme d'habitude.
