A great team of servers & bartenders that make the experience enjoyable & memorable. Drinks were very good & the vibe of this place is unique & very pleasant. My only complaint was that the poutine was a bit too salty. It was my girlfriend's first time trying poutine & I was hoping she would be impressed by something uniquely Canadian but it fell short. But the main course was very good. Salmon tartare & a lobster roll.

Overall the staff at Shakers need to be commended for their friendliness, professionalism & energy. They made us feel welcome, offered good recommendations & really make this place a wonderful experience. I watched as customers all left with big laughs & big smiles. That's how every dining experience should feel like! Bravo!!

Food was ok. Service was below par. Had a very unstable table & both waiters didn't care. When I told them about the table, he just asked if I want some paper towel.

Kids can sit inside restaurant as its considered a bar. So had to sit outside, luckily weather was nice.

Good food & drinks. At one point, the bartender brought around free shots & took one with us. Really enjoyed the wagyu beef dumplings & baked brie. Not sure about the Asian-style salad that came with the dumplings though. Didn't have much flavour & could be skipped.
Would recommend to make a reservation if you plan to come at a busy time.

Four of us attended here last week for supper. It was not very busy with the restaurant just over 1/3 full. We ordered our drinks & waited & waited & waited. We eventually flagged over our waitress who obviously had forgotten to bring them. We eventually got our drinks, at which time we each order our meals. About 30 minutes later we finally flagged down another server & asked where our meals were. Our original server was too busy sneaking shots from behind the bar to be bothered to come check on us. Our meals were then brought out to us, however they were all just room temperature. Obviously, they had been prepared a while ago & then left sitting somewhere for several minutes. They were tasty but likely would have been so much better if they had arrived hot.

I ordered another drink when my meal arrived, but it never did show up. Had to flag another person over to get it. Our server never came back & asked how our meals were. At the end of the evening, we almost had to tackle someone to get our bill.
This was the first time in my life I didn't leave a tip. Without a doubt, this was the WORSE service I've ever experienced in any restaurant across Canada. Thankfully, our other dining experiences in Quebec City were amazing. Just wanted your restaurant to know how terrible your service was that evening.

I spent Valentine's Day here with my sister, who was in town visiting me. We had an amazing time with the bartenders. We ordered the regular beef tartare, the chimichurrie beef tartare, & the (6) wings for starters with the Valentine's Day special cocktail. Our mains included the Atlantic salmon & the lobster & shrimp poutine with a signature cosmopolitan & another cocktail drink. We also indulged the bartenders by having 4 shots of tequila with them. The music, good, atmosphere & company were great! We had a fanstatic evening & Galentine's Day together.

Was it really that good? Yes! Read the last paragraph! Atmosphere: lively & vibrant. I saw people of all ages, different ethical backgrounds all welcomed. I felt good being there. Have you ever been to a place & felt out of place. You won't here. As far as the service, I was at the bar, so take that with a grain of salt. Everyone who worked there was attending to my request. But you are not here to read the above.... The drinks were really good. I mean. I asked to make it strong, & they made it strong. The price. Was inexpensive. I shop at dollar stores, so I know. Did it taste good. Of course, because I became so inebriated ( trying to sound intelligent). Go there & try one or two drinks. Please keep in mind this place was busy when I went. It took 1 hour to get 6 drinks, which is a long time for someone who is dehydrated after walking through hours of Christmas markets (my wife made me...)

We popped in here for a drink & snack on a Monday afternoon & were not disappointed. The manager was behind the bar & so incredibly friendly & welcoming. Truly made us feel like he was happy we were there. We ordered wine, beer, & a pina colada- all spectacular. The special on Mondays is $15 tartare entree or burger entree. We shared the maple goat cheese salmon tartare- so delicious! The only picture we remembered to take was of the pina colada but trust me- everything was wonderful. Highly recommend, 10/10! Would definitely go back.

J'ai été déçu par ma visite au Shaker VIEUX Québec. La nourriture était ordinaire comme l'ambiance. Le serveur en mettait trop...jokes pas drôles.etc.... Pas certain que je retournerai à ce Bar restaurant

Charles & Emrick offrent un service au delà des attentes ! La MUSIQUE est incroyable (contrairement à ceux que j'ai entendu dire que la personne qui a créé la playlist manquait de jugements 🤣) Le barman, dont j'oublie le nom, avait créé un shooter "du moment" avec des bonbons Nerds....c'était tellement bon! C'est rempli de talents dans ce resto/bar!
