In early April 2022, the fourteenth SHAKER Kitchen & Mixology Restaurant & Bar opened its doors to start the year off right! It is in the former location of Bistro Plus located in the heart of Old Quebec that the newest member of the chain has taken place, more precisely at 1063, rue St-Jean.

With its 180 seats, its 40 seats at the bar and its magnificent terrace located on a cult street in the city that is pedestrian during the summer season, this branch has everything to seduce you! Come to this restaurant, which will remind you of the vestiges and history of Old Québec, hiding surprises, unique private spaces and much more! It's up to you to discover them...

Blue Eye Reviewer! In old city Quebec, does not get any better! Great food menu & drink menu, staff knows how to make a great cocktail. Nice atmosphere, nice staff, clean! Shout out to India, she can make a great classic espresso martini! Cheers!

Not heading back anytime soon . Ordered a vegetarian Thai salad which arrived with 3 slabs of bloody meat on top . The salad was returned within 3 minutes ( supposedly remade ) .. the waitress apologised that her long fake nails tapped on the ‘add beef’ button on her iPad … hmmmm … besides that it was pretty much unedible , the veges tasted like they’d been prepped three days ago , & the flavour was about as Thai as a jam sandwich… suffice to say it was returned pretty much uneaten . My partner ordered a Caesar salad , a large percentage of the greens in his salad were starting to turn into compost . Mentioned to the waitress re the blackening greens , & said , we know it’s a tourist place , but wouldn’t expect this in a salad … no apology , no offer of anything , go for a drink maybe but skip the food . We wont be going back !

Très ordinaire! On est allés souper mon amoureux & moi aux trois brasseurs sur grande allée! On a été servis par 4 personnes différentes. On a reçu notre drink & notre nachos en entrée. Personne est venu prendre notre commande en 45 min. On a payé & on a souper ailleurs. Très décevant comme service. On ne penserais pas reveni

Took an hour before the server went to our table. We had to wave multiple time while she was talking with a colleague to get her to come to our table. Just because not everyone has arrive doesn't mean we don't want to have a drink! We couldn't also order drinks & food at the same time which was weird.

Food was 5 stars! The tartare was amazing
Service -2 stars....
The waiter was friendly but not attentive. We had to constantly try to get his attention to order drinks, asked for menues 2 times, & still he kept forgetting to bring it to us. Then half way he just disappeared. & no new waiter was introduced.. no one came to ask if we wanted anything else... was very odd. We had to ask the bartender for the bill because who one would pay attention to us ..

Very nice restaurant. Went with group of friends. We all enjoyed our mixed drinks & cocktails. Appetizers (calamari) very small portions. Hope to go back some day & try the burgers.

Food took very long to get out & waiters to come around the tables. With that being said, our waiter was very nice & friendly ! Food was okay, drinks were great! Very nice vibe

Such a fantastic atmosphere & the drinks menu had so many delicious choices it was difficult to choose! Staff were friendly & accomodating.
