In early April 2022, the fourteenth SHAKER Kitchen & Mixology Restaurant & Bar opened its doors to start the year off right! It is in the former location of Bistro Plus located in the heart of Old Quebec that the newest member of the chain has taken place, more precisely at 1063, rue St-Jean.

With its 180 seats, its 40 seats at the bar and its magnificent terrace located on a cult street in the city that is pedestrian during the summer season, this branch has everything to seduce you! Come to this restaurant, which will remind you of the vestiges and history of Old Québec, hiding surprises, unique private spaces and much more! It's up to you to discover them...

Large booth, attentive staff, live entertainment. The salmon tartare served with salad & croutons was perfectly seasoned & delicious. The drinks menu is vast & very creative. The apricot sour was refreshing. The classic burger & fries & beef tartare are superstars on the menu. In & out in time for a show in a nearby theatre. Would definitely return.

I would give a 10 star if that was an option. Let me begin by saying all the staff was attentive & very friendly. The food was delicious. & the drinks, all the drinks was mixed to perfection!!! Definitely will return if we come back to Quebec! They have a Tartare special on Monday's. The French soup was all that!

A very impressive restaurant, serving absolutely delicious food & very unique cocktails. I had a burger with one of their signature mason-jar cocktails & they both exceeded my expectations. The burger comes with a side of fries & an incredible mayo sauce, made in-house. The portions are also very fitting with the prices (for food & drinks alike). The only downside was the length of time (~40 minutes) for my food to arrive. Other than that, an incredible experience!

In center of Quebec City on the closed off street. Everything was just average. Food was okay. I had buffalo chick poutine, wife had burger & fries. Both as expected but not outstanding. Wait staff was okay. No fountain sodas only cans, which is a big turnoff to us. Would we go back probably not

I had an excellent burger, with fresh seasoned fries & some homemade rosemary mayonnaise. I've never even considered dipping my fries into mayonnaise, but I figured - heck, it's fresh & homemade, might as well try. Truly amazing. The burger was superb as well! Staff were friendly, service was fast & the whole vibe - we ate on the sidewalk patio - was as close to a Parisian sidewalk cafe as you can get on this side of the Atlantic.

We dined in with our friends for supper & had a great meal. Laurence was very nice & made sure we were taken cared of. The food (Asian salad & beef poutine) was delicious & the drinks were good. Won't hesitate to come back.

One of my best experiences in Quebec city. Totally recommend the homard & crevettes poutine, I'm not a big eater, never finish my plate but I ordered the big portion & ate every last bite. The seafood was fresh, the gravy creamy & melting on the mouth, the fries are quite tasty at this place they are thin, crispy & create little fireworks literally. Tried the mixology cocktails, had peach cocktail, didn't like it, my friend had the sugar daddy cocktail & didn't like it either. On the regular cocktails I recommend the spicy mango, it was perfect. The shooters are great, I recommend the sambuca espresso. Such an experience.
