In early April 2022, the fourteenth SHAKER Kitchen & Mixology Restaurant & Bar opened its doors to start the year off right! It is in the former location of Bistro Plus located in the heart of Old Quebec that the newest member of the chain has taken place, more precisely at 1063, rue St-Jean.

With its 180 seats, its 40 seats at the bar and its magnificent terrace located on a cult street in the city that is pedestrian during the summer season, this branch has everything to seduce you! J'ai été très déçu du service pour le repas moi j'ai commandé une assiette Hamburger & les 3 personnes avec moi des trios de tartare il on eu le temps de manger leur assiette aux complet avant que moi je reçoive la mienne 😏 c'est décevant

You all could notice that I usually give positive reviews for most restaurants unless there was a problem with the restaurant. I tried other branches in Montreal so I was familiar with the food & service of SHAKER. I am overall dissatisfied with the quality of the service.

We went in a time that was not too crowded. However the servers did not even look at us when we are waiting to be seated. This felt pretty ignorant on my side. When we were seated, it took so much time to bring water for us. Other people who came later than us were provided with service, so in a way, I felt pretty much disrespected. Later the server apologized, & he was overall very kind.

We enjoyed the food here. But the service I experienced was really disappointing.

Un vrai coup de cœur ! La nourriture était excellente & la boisson tout autant !

La carte était complète , plusieurs choix intéressants & ils portent bien leurs noms la carte de boissons est pétillante!

Ce genre de restaurant fait vraiment penser à un belle & la boeuf mais en plus chic.

Je recommande fortement!!!

Nous allons régulièrement au Shaker Vieux Québec avec ce groupe. Malheureusement, cette fois l'expérience n'a pas été à la hauteur de nos attentes pour ceux qui avaient choisi, soit la bavette de veau, soit celle de boeuf. La nourriture était à peine tiède. Ce qui veut dire que les plat de fonte dans lesquels elles sont servies n'avaient certainement pas été réchauffées (on pouvait en effet les toucher sans se bruler contrairement à d'habitude)...

Lors de notre première visite au restaurant Shaker, il n'y avait plus de la seule bière rousse qu'il annoncait dans leur menu & il n'y avait plus de ''Fish & Chip''. Mon époux était très deçu. Moi, j'ai commandé le General Tao & j'ai été très déçu de la visualisation pas appétissant & ni le goùt du plat. C'était très décevant pour une sortie dans le Vieux Québec.
