To be honest, the overall experience was very disappointing.
My family & I went there for the all-you-can-eat buffet. The first time we ordered salmon sashimi, we received only a little over 20 very small pieces. When we ordered it a second time, we waited for about an hour & had to ask the staff three or four times before it finally arrived. & even then, we only received about 20 pieces.
What was even more disappointing was that the second order was actually salmon wrapped around rice balls, rather than proper salmon sashimi.
At the beginning, we also ordered several plates of flying fish roe sushi. The rice balls were extremely large & thick, with so much rice that you could clearly see the rice underneath the flying fish roe.
It is advertised as an all-you-can-eat buffet, but it honestly felt like the restaurant was reluctant to provide the food we ordered. The portions were extremely small, the service was very slow, & we had to repeatedly ask for our orders. Overall, the experience was very disappointing & did not feel like a genuine all-you-can-eat experience.
On s'attendait à beaucoup mieux.
If you're looking for an amazing all-you-can-eat sushi spot, this is it! From the moment we sat down, our waiter, Jack, made us feel so welcome. He encouraged us to step outside our comfort zone & try new things, which made the whole experience even more fun. The fish was incredibly fresh & buttery. The salmon was hands-down our favorite. Absolutely delicious! We also enjoyed tilapia, hokkigai, escolar, so many different sushi rolls, & finished the meal with mango ice cream, which was the perfect ending. The menu is huge, with something for everyone. They also offer alcoholic beverages, though we didn't try any this visit.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you're a sushi lover or even if you're just looking to explore new flavors. & while you're there, tell Jack the Philadelphia folks say hi! He's an absolute gem & made our night one to remember.
