It was my first time visiting Quebec City. My train from Montreal was delayed, so I arrived at my hotel around 11:30 p.m. on a Monday night, tired & hungry after a long day. I stepped out after checking in & found a cozy spot called Taverne Grande Allée.
That night, the bartender Éric made me a delicious grilled cheese sandwich simple but perfect. I liked it so much that I came back the next day, where Lilly-Rose served me with such warmth & great service. Now it's my third & final night before leaving Quebec City, & I couldn't resist ordering the same grilled cheese one last time. Tonight, Jeremie was behind the bar just as friendly & welcoming as the rest of the team.
Every visit has been consistently warm & enjoyable, & the staff here make you feel right at home something I rarely experience, even in Toronto. Highly recommend this place!
Such a cool bar with a great vibe! We went on a Saturday night when they had a live band playing, & the atmosphere was so lively & fun. The margarita tasted fresh, with just the right amount of lime-definitely felt like it was made with quality ingredients. The nachos were also delicious, generous in portion, & perfect for sharing. A fantastic spot for a fun night out.

Nous étions 2 potes français en vacances, & nous avons fait beaucoup de bars/pub, mais celui-ci a été le meilleur lors de notre passage le soir du 21 mai.
Nous avons enfin trouvé un endroit où on sait tout de suite senti à l'aise avec une bonne ambiance.
Nous avons fait faire des cocktails à une nouvelle serveuse qui on va dire était en formation. Je n'ai pas son prénom du coup, je ne peux pas la remercier directement, mais c'était vraiment une bonne soirée grâce à elle.
On a bien rigolé & en plus les cocktails étaient très bon alors que c'était la première fois qu'elle les faisait, mission réussie 😁.
Bref le meilleur endroit que l'on a fait au Canada !
Super soirée dans ce bar à l'ambiance vraiment chouette, chaleureuse & détendue ! Un endroit où on se sent bien dès qu'on entre.

Je n'ai pas pris de photos mais ce fut une belle expérience au sein de la taverne Grande allée.
Je souhaitais manger mais malheureusement la cuisine était fermée mais cela dit j'ai passé un agréable moment avec de la bonne musique dans un cadre tout en pierre & très accueillants de la part du barman qui a su me conseiller un rhum que j'hésitais à prendre 🥃.
Si vous souhaitez y prendre un verre avec des amis ou en couple je vous le recommande 🌟
Tu cherches la meilleure atmosphère, la meilleure poutine & le meilleur grilled cheese à Québec? La Taverne Grande Allée est la place! La bouffe est excellente, il y a une grande sélection de bière'on tap', la musique est super bonne! Mais ce qui distingue la Taverne Grande Allée selon moi c'est le niveau d'excellence de tous les membres du staff : de la cuisine, à l'accueil, au bar jusqu'au management. Définitivement 5 étoiles!
