Incroyable soirée à La Taverne Grande Allée ! La poutine est la meilleure que j'ai mangée à Québec, le smoked meat est parfaitement fumé & le grilled cheese ultra fondant. Ambiance festive avec le band live, service rapide & souriant. Un vrai coup de coeur, on y retourne très bientôt !
It was my first time visiting Quebec City. My train from Montreal was delayed, so I arrived at my hotel around 11:30 p.m. on a Monday night, tired & hungry after a long day. I stepped out after checking in & found a cozy spot called Taverne Grande Allée.
That night, the bartender Éric made me a delicious grilled cheese sandwich simple but perfect. I liked it so much that I came back the next day, where Lilly-Rose served me with such warmth & great service. Now it's my third & final night before leaving Quebec City, & I couldn't resist ordering the same grilled cheese one last time. Tonight, Jeremie was behind the bar just as friendly & welcoming as the rest of the team.
Every visit has been consistently warm & enjoyable, & the staff here make you feel right at home something I rarely experience, even in Toronto. Highly recommend this place!
Perso j'ai prit un grilled cheese au cannard, Il étais succulent. Le service impeccable rapide polie as hell. J'ai jamais eux un si bon service a si petit prix. L'ambiance est incroyable, la musique aussie. Je recommande a 100% se restaurant, belle découverte 🖤
Honnêtement, j'ai tellement adoré le moment que j'ai passé à la taverne.
Tout était parfait, du service, à la nourriture (le grilled cheese de la traverse était incroyable & la poutine également... Les portions étaient vraiment généreuses) en passant par l'ambiance intimiste & portée par le chanteur qui était talentueux & super proche des gens. Tout ça a participé à nous faire vivre une super belle première expérience.
Tu cherches la meilleure atmosphère, la meilleure poutine & le meilleur grilled cheese à Québec? La Taverne Grande Allée est la place! La bouffe est excellente, il y a une grande sélection de bière'on tap', la musique est super bonne! Mais ce qui distingue la Taverne Grande Allée selon moi c'est le niveau d'excellence de tous les membres du staff : de la cuisine, à l'accueil, au bar jusqu'au management. Définitivement 5 étoiles!
Je suis allée pour un anniversaire. C'était à l'étage & nous avions la salle, un vestiaire & un bar pour notre groupe. Les organisateurs ont pu décorer & apportez des chips, pretzel, petits chocolats …
Il y avait des bouchées pour le repas (Mac & cheese frits, grilled cheese, poutine …) & c'était délicieux. Les barmaid ont donné un excellent service toute la soirée 👌🏻
Pour la musique, il y a un petit stage, deux pianos & on peut mettre notre playlist pour la musique.
Génial pour des groupes. Nous étions environ 35. Le seul point négatif est que les toilettes sont au sous-sol donc ça fait loin.
I was a little disappointed to hear the kitchen was closed at 10pm (especially since the live music started & the bar started filling up), but the grilled cheese with the ham sandwich hit the spot. The waitress was friendly & professional.
Really nice. We arrived in Quebec city late (our train got a delay) & so we arrived later than we anticipated. The kitchen was already closed & not many restaurants were open. The guy who worked offered to make us some grilled cheeses still. They were very good. The drinks we ordered were very good as well. Some of the best we've had, ever.
Le grilled cheese de la taverne est succulent! Les bitterballens sont incroyable... Bon choix de bières & de drinks. La musique est bonne. Bref tout pour avoir un bon moment. Merci
