Super expérience dans ce restaurant italien ! L'ambiance est chaleureuse & conviviale, parfaite pour passer une belle soirée. La nourriture est tout simplement excellente, chaque plat est savoureux & bien présenté.
Un grand merci aussi pour le service incroyable - Jérémie a été attentionné, professionnel & vraiment sympathique du début à la fin. Ça fait toute la différence !
Je recommande sans hésiter & j'ai déjà hâte d'y retourner.

Bonjour, Ma conjointe & moi sommes allés à ce restau pour la 2 ième fois. Rien à redire pour la qualité du repas & du service. Pour cette visite, j'ai reçu un courriel promotionnel début janvier offrant des rabais. Attention cette publicité est montée de manière à nous induire en erreur. Il faut cliquer sur découvrez toutes nos offres, là vous allez avoir la vrai image. La première info que laisse voir le courriel n'est que de la poudre aux yeux & cela a fonctionné ils nous ont eus . Cet établissement demeure un bon endroit, n'hésitez pas à y aller mais je vous recommande d'être vigilant.

Excellent food & solid service. Only knock is its a very small restaurant & on cold days each time the door opens there is a blast of cold air. Highly recommend the steak filet & lamb shank. Pass on the bolognese as bit bland

Everything was wonderful!! The atmosphere amazing! The food - extraordinary. We did the pasta experience & the staff there really made it memorable. We didn't get a full picture of the finished dish but I think we had it with the beef tongue garnish & we all really enjoyed it!! It's such a quaint, cozy & remarkable restaurant. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful dining experience here this week. The service was excellent, friendly, courteous, & attentive. The food was enjoyable, & while we've definitely had better pasta, this was a solid Quebec 5 compared to most other options. We especially enjoyed the flammable pasta; it was fun to watch, & they even let you step by the kitchen to see it being prepared. Overall, it was a lovely experience, though we do wish the space were a bit larger.

Helpful tip: Reservations are recommended, as not all tables are occupied. Be sure to request a booth even if you're dining as a couple, since the two-person tables are quite small & tight.

VA Bene Bar is located steps from Rue du Petit Champlain, one of Quebec City's most beautifully decorated streets this time of year. It makes sense then that if you're in Old Quebec to view the Christmas card picture-perfect street scenes that you would dine at this restaurant.

Be aware that this restaurant is smallish & that tables only number about 12-15. It makes for a very cozy dining experience. Our table was a mere 3 feet from the front door. I highly recommend that you make a reservation.

The service is professional & somewhere between cautiously friendly & lukewarm.

My wife had the risotto funghi & found it delicious. I had the salmon & also found it to be really good.

We ordered Nonna's special recipe tiramisu &, while good, I was mildly surprised that it was served in a rectangular glass container that reminded me of the type one uses to store leftovers.

We came from Vancouver to celebrate our anniversary & were treated very well. The food was great, the service was excellent, & they gave us a delicious dessert to celebrate. A place in the heart of Quebec worth visiting. I highly recommend it.
