Beautiful inside & clean.
The foie gras in the mushroom risotto tasted good. Would be better if the aborio rice was cooked softer. It was a bit undercooked.

The salad was my favourite. Sweetness of the pear paired nicely with the cheese & artichoke.

The server offered bread but did not mention there was a charge for it. I think extra charges should be mentioned.

Had 3 days in Quebec & started with this Italian Restaurant. We had to sit outside as the restaurant was full but the food was excellent. Shared starter was lovely & my steak with dauphinoise potato was excellent. My wife had lamb with polenta which was also excellent. Slightly expensive at $200 but can thoroughly recommend.

Chaque plat est une oeuvre d'art, à commencer par des pâtes d'une justesse incomparable. Laissez-vous tenter par une entrée d'antipasto généreuse, composée de charcuteries de qualité supérieure. & pour finir en beauté, un tiramisu maison, digne de la'nonna', vous fera fondre de plaisir.
Le service, d'une qualité rare, est attentif & chaleureux, ce qui est de plus en plus difficile à trouver. Ne changez rien, vous faites un travail formidable !

J'ai vécu chez Va Bene une expérience qui dépasse la simple sortie au restaurant. J'y suis allé pour une rencontre d'affaires, mais c'est tout mon esprit qui en est ressorti inspiré.

Dès l'accueil, Philippe, le propriétaire associé, a su instaurer une ambiance aussi chaleureuse qu'élégante. On sent tout de suite la passion & le souci du détail qu'il transmet à son équipe; une brigade en salle attentionnée, humaine, incroyablement professionnelle. On ne parle pas ici de bon service… on parle de véritable hospitalité.

En cuisine, c'est un ballet de maîtrise & de finesse. Mon antipasto, suivi d'un filet mignon d'une cuisson parfaite, ont été sublimés par un accord mets & vins d'une justesse remarquable (la sauce, juste wow). Chaque bouchée racontait quelque chose. Bravo aux chefs : leur talent & leur coeur se goûtent dans chaque assiette.

C'est une maison de passionnés, un lieu où on se sent reçu comme un invité d'honneur. Je repars conquis, reconnaissant… & impatient d'y retourner.

En moins de 30 minutes on avait reçu notre entrée & plat principale. Le service etait top qualité. Les pates flambé dans la meule de parmesans etait tellement bonnes. C'est les meilleurs pâtes que j'ai mangé. Une expérience à vivre absolument.
