10/10 sans fautes. Nos attendent ont ete dépassées, sans le savoir, nous avions trouver une place de choix. Accueil impeccable, services & serveurs professionnelle & personnalisée. La nourriture, nous avons prix 2.formules 4 services ainsi que les pâté Carbo. Je vous laisse découvrir puisque je ne trouve pas les bons mots justes pour etre a la hauteur de cr que nous avons manger & reçu comme service. Merci a Gabriel, tu aimes ton métiers comme tu nous la mentionne. A ce point, c'est une profession dans laquelle ce restaurant pourrait etre l'exemple parfait pour enseigner au futur gens dans la restauration. Je recommande fortement, & je vais devoir retourner pour continuer a essayer le menu. 👍
Absolutely delicious food. We enjoyed everything we had. The focaccia is airy. It's interesting how great the lemon came through & paired well with olive oil. Never had that elsewhere. The gnocchi poutine was nice. Not too salty, not too heavy. The onion soup was delicious. The tiramisu was on point. We had fun digging to the bottom. Our waiter also took good care of us. He always kept our water filled. Probably the best service we got amongst all the places we tried. Highly recommended. Not to mention the view from this restaurant
We didn't have a reservation for our last night in Quebec City & were so glad we ended up at Va Bene. The staff were welcoming & attentive - Gabriel was our waiter & he was lovely. The food (we had a shrimp starter & the salmon) was perfectly cooked & wine recommendations were on point. I would definitely return.

La nourriture est très bonne & les plats sont savoureux. Par contre, gros point négatif selon moi : je suis venu spécialement pour goûter les pâtes servies dans la meule de parmesan, & on m'a répondu que ce plat n'était disponible que pour deux personnes. Je trouve ça assez illogique, car une personne seule devrait aussi pouvoir en profiter.
Mis à part ce point, le repas était très bon & le service correct, mais j'avoue être vraiment déçu de ne pas avoir pu commander le plat pour lequel j'étais venu.
Very good dinner on a rainy night. Va Bene is a busy place on a tourist street in the old town, & is a good spot to watch les gens qui passant. The pasta was quite good & service cheerful & prompt.
10/10 Speechless. Dined here for our anniversary & decided to try the tasting menu with classic wine pairings & wow. This review is challenging to write because there are no words for how incredible each course was. The pairings were wonderful & the staff here are so kind & personable, including the owner. I cannot recommend this place enough I'm so happy we ended up here! Also an amazing location with beautiful views. I recommend sitting on their terrace! Thank you, Bene Bar for an unforgettable evening!!
Amazing food. Went for our anniversary & had wonderful service & delightful, delicious dishes. Decided to splurge with the pairing menu & couldn't have made a better decision. Next time we come back to the City we'll be sure to make another stop. They made our night very special. Also be sure to get the tiramisu, I hear it's an 80 year old family recipe.
Souper pour la fête à mon frère, nous avons été super bien accueilli nous avons mangé le plat à partager à deux avec les pâtes flambées. Notre serveuse a fait un service impeccable, mais c'est une équipe qui travaille tous ensemble ainsi que le propriétaire était présent, cuisine, typiquement italien & portions, généreuse je vais y retourner sans hésitation
Un gros wow pour notre soirée au Va Bene ! Notre serveuse Emilie était tout simplement exceptionnelle : passionnée, souriante, accueillante, à l'écoute de nos besoins & connaissant son menu à la perfection.
Les banquettes, en forme de petite hutte, créent une ambiance vraiment conviviale & chaleureuse.
& que dire du menu… On aurait voulu tout goûter ! Chaque plat était absolument délicieux. L'Italie est littéralement venue à nous le temps d'une soirée.
& que dire du dessert… le tiramisu 😋🤤Honnêtement, on ne peut pas passer à côté de ce tiramisu-là. Il est… indescriptible. J'en suis restée sans mots. Je n'ai jamais goûté un tiramisu aussi bon, aussi parfait. Une vraie douceur qui termine la soirée en beauté.
Une expérience que je recommande sans hésiter ! 😍☺?
