Had 3 days in Quebec & started with this Italian Restaurant. We had to sit outside as the restaurant was full but the food was excellent. Shared starter was lovely & my steak with dauphinoise potato was excellent. My wife had lamb with polenta which was also excellent. Slightly expensive at $200 but can thoroughly recommend.

The décor of the place was perfect & so was the food! I'm usually not a big fan of pesto, but the pesto dish I had was to die for. All of us cleaned our plates.

Dessert was great too, we had a tiramisu made the way the chef's Nonna used to make it. It even had a little note from Nonna. It felt so intimate & special.

Service was awesome. We spent about $70/person, but that's only cuz we got a bottle of wine. You could get out at a minimum of like $40/person. Highly recommend!

Really nice little Italian spot, small but super cozy & romantic, with dimmed lighting that sets the vibe just right. We had everything to share, which was perfect since the portions were a good size & let us enjoy a bit of everything. Dinner was really good overall. The carpaccio was a standout, definitely recommend trying it. The onion soup was okay, but the other dishes were packed with interesting flavor combos & really well done. The timing of each dish was perfect, & the service was great, our waitress was super friendly. A lovely place for a dinner out.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre soirée au Va Bene. L'ambiance était super, la nourriture exquise & le personnel avenant & sympathique. Le tiramisu est un must ainsi que les pâtes flambées!
Nous avons adoré notre serveur Philippe & ses recommandations étaient excellentes.

Première visite à ce restaurant & clairement pas la dernière! Le staff est professionnel, la salle à manger est splendide, la nourriture est d'une qualité supérieure... Je ne peux dire que du positif! Je recommande de réserver d'avance étant donné qu'il n'y a que peu de places assises (ce qui donne un beau sentiment d'intimité!) & de sélectionner une table près des fenêtres. N'hésitez pas à prendre l'expérience pour deux personnes des pâtes dans la meule de fromage!

(À mon avis, cet endroit serait très difficilement accessible à une personne à mobilité réduite non-accompagnée)

We just had one of the best meals of our lives at Va Bene. It was recommended to us by our hotel concierge & it was well worth the hike down the hill. I got the carbonara & it was life changing. The service was wonderful & the restaurant itself was beautiful, clean, & I can't wait to come back to try everything else!
