It was at the dawn of the pandemic that we acquired our restaurant, the opening is official on July 17, 2020 and since then it is our pleasure to welcome you. Prepared on site with fresh ingredients, we offer tasty, simple and unpretentious cuisine. All our cuisine is gluten-free and mostly lactose-free without neglecting the taste. We have a warm atmosphere where it is pleasant to come as a couple or in a group.

Amazing! Finding a place to dine that is gluten free is a must as my husband is celiac, but finding a place that also has lactose free options for myself is next to impossible. This restaurant is a unicorn!! Offing all the typical foods you can't get gluten free unless you cook them yourself at home! My husband was finally able to enjoy a gluten free poutine in Quebec & this restaurant did not disappoint! All the food we had was so amazing we had to order a dessert to go (carrot cake) which was also incredibly delicious the next day! Our experience was definitely worth the late reservation time (& only time available) that we booked! Highly recommend checking it out! FYI you cannot tell that anything was gluten free or lactose free. So good!!
Visited during a Christmas / New Years vacation in Quebec City for our family. My wife & two teenage daughters all have dietary restrictions so we were very excited with the selection of gluten free / lactose free restaurants in Quebec. We visited Veravin on New Year's Eve.
Food was amazing, especially the appetizers. Such a treat to be able to get items that are not typically available for anyone that is unable to eat gluten or lactose. As someone that does not have food sensitivities, I think the onion rings & cheese sticks were some of the best I've ever had.
Service was also great. As it was NYE, our waiter was quite busy & we could see & appreciate his attention to detail. When not serving tables, he was thoroughly cleaning preparing for the next service, even washing menus.
The restaurant is small but nice. The only reason we gave 4 stars (instead of 5) is because of the hostess. She was quite rude & ignorant. I initially thought it was because English was her second language but saw it throughout the night. When we first arrived she informed us that our table wasn't ready & said,'I will MAKE you wait on the bench.' I passed this off as perhaps not knowing the correct (polite)words to use but after waiting for over 20 minutes we noticed that several tables (for 4) were available but being used to seat others that arrived after us. When we asked about the status of our table (which still wasn't available) she was immediately defensive & informed us that it's because the other guests were French & she couldn't seat us at a table in that section with a French waiter. I understand that rationale & would have accepted that explanation except that I didn't appreciate the tone / delivery of the message (had it not been NYE, I would not have stayed). & while I do not speak French, two of our guests are bilingual but it was never asked if we would be comfortable sitting / conversing with a French waiter. After being seated we noticed another couple having a similar interaction with the hostess.
Despite the hostess, it was a great experience & really pleased we had a chance to visit. Our total cost for four guests was about $500 (including gratuity) but it should be noted that we had two bottles of wine & other drinks. This restaurant is very reasonably priced.
Mais quelle belle trouvaille! J'ai adoré la nourriture, je n'avais pas mangé de bâtonnets de fromage depuis 20 ans. Le décor est exceptionnel & chaleureux. La serveuse a donné tout un service. Tout le menu est sans gluten & sans lactose & je vous promets que c'est vraiment délicieux…en plus y'a tout plein de trucs à boire pour agrémenter ton repas.

Quel bonheur de pouvoir avoir autant de choix pour moi qui suis intolérante au gluten & au lactose.
J'ai choisi les bâtonnets au fromage & le carpaccio de betterave, les deux entrées étaient délicieuses.
Mon conjoint a pris le filet de porc qui était dans le menu des fêtes & lui aussi a trouvé que son plat était réussi.
Le restaurant aura une nouvelle adresse sur la rue St-Jean à partir de février & ce sera un plaisir d'y retourner chaque fois que nous serons en visite dans la belle ville de Québec.
It is such a special treat to have Celiac Disease & be able to enjoy a completely gluten free restaurant. The ambience is also very lovely at Veravin 2.0 - it is a cute little restaurant on the lower ramparts of Quebec. The entire menu is homemade, gluten free, & lactose free. I have been multiple times & had 2 of the 4 delicious gluten free beers on tap - Alchimiste, & the Monaco cocktail. The food is incredible: the onion rings with honey🤤, fish'n chips, mini corn dogs, beet carpaccio, karaage style chicken, apple walnut salad, chocolate cake, & creme brûlée. The meals come out fresh & piping hot, though the wait can be a bit long when it is busy. Be sure to make a reservation with libro or you could have a long wait!
Restaurant sans gluten très bon. Un grand choix de plats, je recommande particulièrement le burger, le pain se démarque de ce que l'on retrouve généralement, il ne se déliait pas, & avait un très bon goût. Les bâtonnets de fromages sont sans lactose. Tout était parfait, même si un peu d'attente sauf… le gravlax qui est vraiment la tache d'ombre sur le menu. Prenez davantage le tartare. C'était immangeable. Quand je l'ai fais remarqué poliment au serveur (cela arrive de se tromper en cuisine, surtout sur un gravlax qui doit être mariner généralement 24h dans le sel pour se confire), celui-ci me dit que non, le plat est réussi. Le plat n'est réussi que quand celui qui le déguste estime que celui-ci est réussi. Le plat était relativement cher & je n'ai rien mangé. Je n'ai pas eu de dédommagement, je suis reparti bredouille. Heureusement mes amis m'ont donnés de leur souper.
This spot is everything I have ever secretly wanted in a restaurant. It had beautiful open brick wall but the music was quiet & lots of sound absorbing surfaces so it was lovely & relaxing for a date--plus they sat us right beside the radiator. Looks to be a family run place with exceptional service & OMG nearly everything on the menu is lactose free. We had the French onion soup, poutine, & salmon linguini. The pasta was excellent. The poutine was admittedly an odd accompaniment, but it was so nice to have lactose free chee se curds. It could have used more gravy. The French onion soup was made with mead which was lovely but the cheese was on a crunchy toast set on top instead of covering the soup. Would have loved to have the gf/lf carrot cake or creme brulee but ran out of room.
A perfect meal, 100% gluten free, with no cross contamination risk. The staff was great, the ambiance cozy & comfortable. Most meals with dairy are lactose free, it's well indicated on their menu. We had a great time! It's the kind of place where you relax, not a fast food restaurant. The Ceasar salad was amazing, & the pudding chômeur was incredibly delicious. We will definitely go back. Book your table in advance, it was fully booked when we went.
Best gluten free food I have had in a long time. I was able to eat fried things like mozza sticks & pogos. Everything on site is gluten free & most is also lactose free. It's a hidden gem in old Quebec. Highly recommend. I went with 3 friends who were not celiac & they enjoyed the food as much as I did. Prices were comparable to any other restaurant which was a nice surprise. If you are in Old Quebec I HIGHLY recommend
