It was at the dawn of the pandemic that we acquired our restaurant, the opening is official on July 17, 2020 and since then it is our pleasure to welcome you. Prepared on site with fresh ingredients, we offer tasty, simple and unpretentious cuisine. All our cuisine is gluten-free and mostly lactose-free without neglecting the taste. We have a warm atmosphere where it is pleasant to come as a couple or in a group.

This was my first visit to Quebec City & when I found Veravin so close to my accommodation, I was thrilled. Gratefully, it was everything the reviews promised! I was able to have poutine for the first time in my life & my family assured me it was a very good example (I had nothing to compare it to). I also had incredibly tasty calamari & I topped off the meal with impossibly good carrot cake! The cake was so good there was no way I could tell it was gluten free.
I would recommend that the restaurant get another air conditioner, though. One small wall mounted device was far too little for a full restaurant, & it became quite uncomfortable. We actually found it cooler outside when we left!
Visited during a Christmas / New Years vacation in Quebec City for our family. My wife & two teenage daughters all have dietary restrictions so we were very excited with the selection of gluten free / lactose free restaurants in Quebec. We visited Veravin on New Year's Eve.
Food was amazing, especially the appetizers. Such a treat to be able to get items that are not typically available for anyone that is unable to eat gluten or lactose. As someone that does not have food sensitivities, I think the onion rings & cheese sticks were some of the best I've ever had.
Service was also great. As it was NYE, our waiter was quite busy & we could see & appreciate his attention to detail. When not serving tables, he was thoroughly cleaning preparing for the next service, even washing menus.
The restaurant is small but nice. The only reason we gave 4 stars (instead of 5) is because of the hostess. She was quite rude & ignorant. I initially thought it was because English was her second language but saw it throughout the night. When we first arrived she informed us that our table wasn't ready & said,'I will MAKE you wait on the bench.' I passed this off as perhaps not knowing the correct (polite)words to use but after waiting for over 20 minutes we noticed that several tables (for 4) were available but being used to seat others that arrived after us. When we asked about the status of our table (which still wasn't available) she was immediately defensive & informed us that it's because the other guests were French & she couldn't seat us at a table in that section with a French waiter. I understand that rationale & would have accepted that explanation except that I didn't appreciate the tone / delivery of the message (had it not been NYE, I would not have stayed). & while I do not speak French, two of our guests are bilingual but it was never asked if we would be comfortable sitting / conversing with a French waiter. After being seated we noticed another couple having a similar interaction with the hostess.
Despite the hostess, it was a great experience & really pleased we had a chance to visit. Our total cost for four guests was about $500 (including gratuity) but it should be noted that we had two bottles of wine & other drinks. This restaurant is very reasonably priced.
Our amazing experience at Veravin 2.0 turned out to be a pleasant surprise & a highlight of our meals during our week in Québec City! The space & atmosphere were warm & welcoming & service was friendly & helpful. We ordered a number of plates & sides from the menu & everything was phenomenal! Wine list was impressive. This is a gem!!

It is such a special treat to have Celiac Disease & be able to enjoy a completely gluten free restaurant. The ambience is also very lovely at Veravin 2.0 - it is a cute little restaurant on the lower ramparts of Quebec. The entire menu is homemade, gluten free, & lactose free. I have been multiple times & had 2 of the 4 delicious gluten free beers on tap - Alchimiste, & the Monaco cocktail. The food is incredible: the onion rings with honey🤤, fish'n chips, mini corn dogs, beet carpaccio, karaage style chicken, apple walnut salad, chocolate cake, & creme brûlée. The meals come out fresh & piping hot, though the wait can be a bit long when it is busy. Be sure to make a reservation with libro or you could have a long wait!
Truly an amazing experience. My brother had his first drink of the night accidentally made virgin. Hostess more than made up for it.
Our hosts were extremely helpful, friendly, & attentive. The atmosphere was very laid back & casual but felt comfortable.
The food was to die for. I spent the weekend in the city for my birthday & Veravin 2.0 was highly recommended to me. I'm very glad I visited.
I ordered fish & chips, something I haven't eaten since I was a child. It was divine. The beer too was very good. Sourced from a local QC microbrewery. Beats glutenberg 100 times over.
My brother mentioned it was my birthday & they brought me out this extravagant carrot cake that was so delicious you'd think you had passed on.
11/10. 1000% 6 out of 5 stars.
This cute & quaint restaurant should be on everyone's list of must try places.

Je n'ai aucun commentaire négatif à donner au Veravin. Alors que j'avais réservé, je suis arrivée en retard. Le personnel a été très accueillant & compréhensif de la situation. La nourriture était chaude & délicieuse. J'ai eu la chance de rencontrer un propriétaire qui traite ses clients aux petits soins. Extrêmement satisfaite du service, les prix sont très raisonnables.
Une superbe expérience au Veravin ! Le service est impeccable : chaleureux, attentionné & plein de gentillesse. On se sent vraiment bien accueillis. & que dire de la nourriture… tout simplement délicieuse, des plats savoureux & bien présentés. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour ce beau moment - on reviendra, c'est certain !
Nous avons eu le plaisir de dîner au restaurant Veravin 2.0 à Québec & notre expérience a été sans faute du début à la fin. Dès la réservation, tout s'est déroulé de manière fluide & agréable. À notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement & notre serveuse, Anabel, a offert un service impeccable & attentionné tout au long de la soirée.
La nourriture était tout simplement divine. Chaque plat était une explosion de saveurs, avec une diversité & une nouveauté qui ont su nous surprendre à chaque bouchée. Le fait que tout soit sans gluten a été un véritable luxe pour moi, car j'ai pu partager les mets avec ma famille sans me sentir différente ou craindre de tomber malade.
Nous avons visité le restaurant pendant le weekend du Carnaval de Québec, pour deux soupers, & malgré l'affluence, nous avons bénéficié d'un service cinq étoiles. L'attention aux détails & le souci de notre bien-être ont vraiment fait la différence. Veravin 2.0 a su créer un effet'wow' qui restera gravé dans nos mémoires.
Je recommande vivement Veravin 2.0 à tous ceux qui cherchent une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle à Québec. Vous ne serez pas déçus !
