C’est à l’aube de la pandémie que nous avons fait l’acquisition de notre restaurant, l’ouverture est officielle le 17 juillet 2020 et depuis il nous fait plaisir de vous accueillir. Préparés sur place avec des ingrédients frais, nous offrons une cuisine savoureuse, simple et sans prétention. Toute notre cuisine est sans gluten et majoritairement sans lactose sans pour autant délaisser le goût. Nous avons une ambiance chaleureuse où il est agréable de venir en couple ou en groupe nous découvrir.

I can't say enough great things about this place. All food gluten free & delicious. My non gluten free husband was hesitant about going there but was able to order a regular beer & took a chance on the pulled pork sandwich & caesar salad. He couldn't believe the bun tasted 'normal' - it was good! One daughter (also not needing gluten free) had the mac & cheese & really liked it. The other two of us - Celiac - daughter had back ribs & fries & I had calamari & duck leg appetizers & it was all so good! They have an English version menu & both who waited on us spoke good English. Make a reservation, easy to do online. We highly this place, it was a highlight of my trip to Quebec City!
Wonderful to be able to eat together with my kids who are celiac safely, without the worries of cross contamination from gluten foods, & with a wide selection of menu items - everyone found something they liked. Owner of Le Veravin is celiac, & he works in the kitchen, so for once we didn't worry about eating out. This meant so much to us as we have not been able to eat out together as a family since our children's diagnosis - not enough real understanding out there about the dangers of cross-contamination to people with celiac disease. But here, they got it. Wonderful.

We had dinner at Le Veravin on the first night we were in Quebec, & loved it so much we came back every day for the next theee days for breakfast (we would have come back for dinners if they were open but we happened to be there on the two nights when they are typically closed for dinner).
The food for both dinner & breakfasts was delicious & safe for us to eat (two of the four of us are celiac). It was so amazing to be able to eat poutine, crepes, French toast, etc & have it all safe to eat. The two non-celiacs were just as pleased as we were with their food options & quality.
The service each of our four visits was superb.
I only wish we had Le Veravin in Ottawa!
Superb meal & wonderful service on Christmas Day . My wife , a celiac, had a wonderful range of tasty meals to choose from ... clearly marked in the menu. Thank you Le Veraven for making It a special Christmas ! Tony & family
We had a terrific breakfast here - very happy to find a safe meal for celiac kids but it was delicious as well. Friendly service, great variety. Crepes, french toast, traditional breakfast were all great.
My partner is celiac & has struggled with eating out at restaurants, as he was always worried about cross-contamination. The lovely server at Le Veravin put him immediately at ease & it was one of the first times we have been able to eat out & just enjoy it, with no ill-side effects. My partner had the GF fish & chips (something he hasn't had for years!) & said they were amazing, I had the pasta with goat cheese & vegetables, which was also delicious. We would recommend this restaurant to not only celiacs, but anyone looking for a nice dining experience. If we ever come back to Quebec, this restaurant will be our go-to.
