We came upon this place completely by accident, booked a last-minute reservation, & happened to get the last room they had - what a lucky find!
It also turns out to be a dedicated gluten-free restaurant, which was such a relief. I didn't have to worry about the menu for once. I ordered the fish & chips - something I rarely get to enjoy anymore - & honestly, I would come back to Quebec just for this restaurant!
There seemed to be only one server, but despite the crowd, he was absolutely top-notch. Even with the place packed, we didn't wait long for our food. The music fit the atmosphere perfectly, & the food… wow. You would never guess it was gluten-free!
& the fish - not processed, not frozen - real fish! You'd be surprised how rare that is. Everything was fantastic, & I have zero complaints. I'll definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know!
It is such a special treat to have Celiac Disease & be able to enjoy a completely gluten free restaurant. The ambience is also very lovely at Veravin 2.0 - it is a cute little restaurant on the lower ramparts of Quebec. The entire menu is homemade, gluten free, & lactose free. I have been multiple times & had 2 of the 4 delicious gluten free beers on tap - Alchimiste, & the Monaco cocktail. The food is incredible: the onion rings with honey🤤, fish'n chips, mini corn dogs, beet carpaccio, karaage style chicken, apple walnut salad, chocolate cake, & creme brûlée. The meals come out fresh & piping hot, though the wait can be a bit long when it is busy. Be sure to make a reservation with libro or you could have a long wait!
Truly an amazing experience. My brother had his first drink of the night accidentally made virgin. Hostess more than made up for it.
Our hosts were extremely helpful, friendly, & attentive. The atmosphere was very laid back & casual but felt comfortable.
The food was to die for. I spent the weekend in the city for my birthday & Veravin 2.0 was highly recommended to me. I'm very glad I visited.
I ordered fish & chips, something I haven't eaten since I was a child. It was divine. The beer too was very good. Sourced from a local QC microbrewery. Beats glutenberg 100 times over.
My brother mentioned it was my birthday & they brought me out this extravagant carrot cake that was so delicious you'd think you had passed on.
11/10. 1000% 6 out of 5 stars.
This cute & quaint restaurant should be on everyone's list of must try places.
I'll be back on my next visit!

This was the first 100% gluten free restaurant I have ever visited & the food did not disappoint! My partner & I enjoyed the onion rings (super yummy, great batter) & a glass of natural orange wine. For our mains, he enjoyed a delicious seafood risotto & I the fish & chips with poutine (the fish & batter were soooo good, but I do not recommend the poutine) I ordered a lavender lemonade gin cocktail & it was far too sweet but still tasty. Our service was very slow but I enjoyed the meal & the fact that everything was gluten free so much I really didn't mind
First time we didn't have to mention we were gluten intolerant. Odered double so that we could taste the most things, pogo, onion rings, cheese sticks, fish & chips…. All just amazing. We will be back
50 minutes to get our food from the time we ordered. Restaurant was maybe half full. No updates from our server. When we asked for an update at 40 minutes, we were rudely told'well this isn't fast food'. Once the food was brought out it still wasn't brought out together, one dish came more than 5 minutes after the rest. One fish dish was undercooked. Overall, would not recommend.
We were over the moon to find a restaurant where we could order ANYTHING on the menu without worrying about gluten contamination. Every single thing we ordered – & we ordered a lot – was perfect! The fish & chips stood out from all, though! I didn't think we would ever be able to eat fish & chips at a restaurant again. I would fly back just to eat here again.
We really wanted to try this restaurant because 2/4 of us have celiac.
The restaurant was pretty empty when we ordered & it took about 45 minutes to get our meal.
My kids ordered burger & substituted the fries for onion rings. They got 5 onion rings each & charged us an extra $18. My daughter didn't like the taste of the burger meat(it did taste different)
I ordered the chicken burger & it was really good. My Caesar salad was good but very very fishy tasting. My husband ha fries with his order but it was just small pieces of fries.
I doubt we will go back.
