Je donne zéro étoile parce que c'est impossible. On a attendu 40 minutes pour ramasser une commande de quatre baguettes. Deux jeunes filles arrivées après nous ont été servies presque immédiatement, alors qu'on attendait toujours. Lorsque nous nous sommes plaints, ils ont prétendu s'être trompés ; c'était évident que le cuisinier n'avait même pas la commande. Malgré leur reconnaissance de leur erreur, ils ont servi un autre groupe de quatre personnes arrivées après nous. On était les derniers servis, alors qu'on était arrivés bien plus tôt. On était pressés de prendre notre avion & on a failli souper à l'aéroport. C'est inadmissible. Même si j'habitais ici, j'y remettrais jamais les pieds.

An absolute hidden gem in Québec City!
We found Baguette Brochette while travelling through Québec City & were so glad we did. It's a small, welcoming mom-&-pop restaurant with such a fun, authentic atmosphere. It was busy & lively, with great African music playing, friendly people, & just a really cool energy from the moment we walked in.

The food was absolutely amazing - fresh, flavourful & clearly made with care. Everyone was incredibly warm & welcoming, & the whole experience felt genuine rather than touristy. It ended up being one of those unexpected stops that becomes a favourite memory from a trip.

If you're visiting Québec City & want fantastic food, friendly people & a lively, authentic atmosphere, definitely give Baguette Brochette a try. We would go back in a heartbeat!

I got the tofu baguette which was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately my husband's order was made incorrectly & he couldn't eat it (asked for non spicy & no tomatoes as he has difficulty with spicy food since his stomach surgery). Be careful when ordering on UberEats (the receipt they provided with the meal was correct so maybe they just accidentally put in the wrong baguette for him). The plantains are delicious & a huge serving. The beignets were very good as well. The pineapple ginger juice was fresh tasting with a good kick!

Un bon concept mais le pain était trop dur, le poulet était sec trop cuit & pas tendre pas de sauce comme on a choisi ainsi on a demandé que ça soit piquant mais ça n'était pas
Bon il faut penser à améliorer les sandwiches
