About

Baguette & Chocolat serves authentic French-inspired baked goods and artisanal refreshments in a refined setting. The menu centers on traditional crusty baguettes crafted with high-quality flour and long fermentation techniques for optimal texture. A variety of flaky, buttery viennoiseries fills the display cases alongside dense, rich chocolate confections prepared with professional precision. Patrons choose from an array of classic pastries that showcase technical proficiency in dough lamination and delicate flavor balancing. The establishment emphasizes the purity of ingredients, sourcing components that highlight traditional European baking methods. This focus results in a consistent output of savory breads and sweet treats designed for those who value culinary fundamentals. Every item reflects a dedication to standard techniques that prioritize crumb structure, golden finishes, and intense cocoa profiles in every served portion.

nice little dessert spot with a cozy atmosphere. I tried the crepe with chocolate drizzle & powdered sugar, along with an iced coffee. The crepe looked really good & tasted sweet & fresh, & the iced coffee was creamy & refreshing. It's a nice place to stop for a quick dessert or drink while walking around.

A good escape from cold rain, & well-made espresso drinks (cappuccino & americano). Crepes (Québécoise & classique) weren't great: rubbery & tasteless crepe, little flavor in toppings/fillings. Comfortable atmosphere & friendly staff. Oddly, little evidence of chocolate or baguettes. Hmm

We ordered a couple of pain au chocolat. The flavor was okay-nothing particularly memorable. The place might be a bit overrated, or maybe we just caught them on an off day.
They initially served the pastries cold, & we had to ask them to heat them up. I also ordered a hot chocolate, which was overwhelmingly sweet & not enjoyable. On the bright side, my wife's latte was really good.
Overall, a mixed experience

This place was so cute! We loved the crepes & the hot chocolate was so amazing. The staff were very friendly & helpful; when we spilled hot chocolate they were very understanding & helpful. They even gave us an extra one for free! We loved this place so much. This was the best restaurant we went to on our trip by far.

Pedimos un chocolate caliente, un café y croissant's… te dan helados los croissant's y los vasos y platos los lavan sin jabón. Me preocupa

Nice cafe for traditional coffee-style drinks & their variations. The smoothies aren't made with fresh fruit, & the more trendy or elaborate drinks like matcha aren't of good quality. The hot chocolate is difficult to drink because there's so much sugar.
The positives are the crepes & very fast service, spacious enough to sit down, & close to amenities.

While roaming & exploring Old Quebec City, we stumbled upon this café & decided to visit after checking the menu online. We ordered the La Royale crêpe, maple pie, & cannoli. The crêpe came with ice cream, chocolate syrup, & banana-it was delicious, one of the best we've ever had. The pie was tasty as well. However, the cannoli stole the show: creamy, soft, & absolutely delicious. One could visit this café just for the cannoli!

The service was quick & the ambiance is cozy as well.
