Oh my. What a beautiful experience. From wine recommendations to a tart Provencal cocktail, great advice on choices. We shared the mushrooms with fois gras. The sauce was smooth & buttery. My halibut was tender & perfectly cooked. The bison short ribs were rolled & the bones added a depth of flavour & succulence. Highly recommended.

Simply out of this world, ridiculously great food. Deserves Michelin recognition. The mushroom special & vegetable soup had incredibly deep, rich flavors & were unique & inventive. The beef filet was so tender that I barely needed a knife. Dessert is just as good!

The service & drinks are top tier as well, despite just two staff running the front of house. We got a cocktail & wine recommendation which paired perfectly with each course. The kitchen also accommodated a dietary restriction with ease. Overall, a memorable night & highly recommend!

An excellent culinary experience with unique menu items expertly prepared. Fantastic flavor profiles & visual presentation in every dish. Excellent wine list as well. Highly recommended. We will definitely go back next time.

My partner & I had a wonderful meal here for Valentine's Day. We were curious to try the local Quebec wines & were pleasantly surprised following the server's recommendation! The service was attentive but not too overbearing. We sat on the second floor, the atmosphere is cozy & relaxed. Overall it was a fine dining experience without being too pretentious. We would return if we find ourselves in Quebec again!

Absolutely fantastic food & service. We had halibut & guinea hen. Wow!!! The presentation, taste & presentation was perfect. All the service took care of watching all tables so you never waited for anything. Two levels, both with small fireplaces, & candles on tables made all seating areas cozy & welcoming. A very imaginative menu with choices for everyone including a very nice choice of Quebec & international wines to accompany dinner choices. Definitely not to be missed & reservation would be recommended. Bon appetite.

The restaurant chef is an artist; Jean-Paul Riopelle of Québec City cuisine. Most delicious dish of 2025! Cozy atmosphere, best bartender/host who would find/recommend a wine pairing with the vast variety of amazing dishes.

We were in Quebec to celebrate my 50th birthday & had reservations on Dec 6th. It was an amazing experience! To start, it's so cozy & warm inside, a beautiful atmosphere. Our waiter was spot on with his recommendations. He started with a drink he created, & it was a delicious sangria with a winter theme. We then had the charcuterie which was delicious. He explained each item & where the cheese came from. For our main course, I had the Filet Mignon which was cooked perfectly. My husband had the Bison Rib, which he really enjoyed. The waiter recommended delicious wines to go with our main course. We ended the meal with a shared creme brulee. It was the perfect end to our trip in lovely Quebec City.

Wow! Everything was fantastic. The food was both extraordinary & plentiful, the service was personal & warm, the atmosphere was so very comfortable we sat for hours. From appetizers to dessert with wine pairing you cannot go wrong. Mac & cheese is a must!

OMG! Absolutely the best place we have experienced. The beetroot glazed cod with leeks & root vegetables was a flavor bomb. Seasoned perfectly. The poached pear & maple ice cream was an excellent ending. All the food & wines were from the local terrior! Service was warm, the atmosphere was cozy & inviting. This place should have a michelen star. Absolutely my favorite place at which I have eaten in Quebec City, perhaps my new favorite anywhere!!! Alexandra was wonderful!

We just had our second visit last night & it was as wonderful ans the first. We were in the mood for comfort food & we were rewarded with an onctious french onion soup & a shepherd's pie with grilled fois gras & perfectly roasted vegetables. The service was personable & our sommelière was kind & helpful. It has become my favorite place in Quebec City to dine. Fantastic food in a cozy & warm setting
