We ate at several great restaurants on our recent trip to Quebec City, & BEClub was one of the best! We weren't sure what to expect or how it would compare to some of the other places we went to, but BEClub far exceeded our expectations. The food was amazing, but what really stood out was the exceptional service. We had two terrific servers - one focused on food & the other beverages - & both had upbeat & fun personalities. Their recommendations were spot on, & I ended up trying several things that I normally wouldn't have ordered. & I was very happy that I did. Even though BEClub has an excellent rating on Google & other sites, in my opinion, it's still underrated. Go try it, & you will be glad you did.
I cannot rave about our dining experience enough! We were a party of nine women & were treated like royalty. We all said we felt like family with the exceptional service, the fabulous food & ambience. Giovanni, his alter ego Sebastian, Chef Stefan, & Tomas were perfection. Don't miss the opportunity to have an amazing meal & experience at this establishment!

We initially went to the BE Club Bistro & Bar as part of a food tour. As it is on a side street we wouldn't have found it on our own, but in the brief time we were there, we knew we had to return for the full experience. We have all had food prepared by a cook or a chef, but to have food prepared by an artist is rare, & that is what Stefan, the chef/proprietor of BE Club Bistro Bar is, a true artist.
A sense of calm greets you as you enter the door. It is readily apparent he has put his heart & soul into this establishment. From the peaceful music, to the use of whimsical lighting & decor, to the flashes of red you can see through the brick archway into the kitchen, every detail has been selected with care, & that is also how you will be treated.Our waiter was warm, helpful, attentive & thoughtful. From his description of the food choices to his suggestions for accompanying cocktails, it was clear he took pride in his work & truly wanted us to enjoy our evening.
We began with a delightful scallop appetizer, that melted in your mouth & left you wanting for more. For our main entrees my husband had the Bison Rib which he described as succulent with robust flavors, & being one of the best meals of his life . I thoroughly enjoyed their playful twist on Mac & Cheese including the house made bacon. We gluttonously ended our meal by splitting a Poached Pear dessert that was somehow simultaneously light & decadent.
Needless to say, we left feeling very fortunate to have discovered this gem of a restaurant & hope when you are in Quebec City, you do yourself a favor & make a reservation, you will not be disappointed!
Small bistro just off the main road, Saint Jean. The special was an outstanding lamb dinner for two with delicious root vegetables, paired with a nice Bordeaux wine.
Nous sommes tombés par hasard sur ce petit joyau. On nous a proposé un spritz hallucinant & orignal & des bouchées à tomber par terre servies par le chef lui-même. Accueil chaleureux & service impeccable. Endroit parfait pour une première rencontre. Ça vaut le détour!
We had the best meal in Quebec at this restaurant. Food presentation was amazing & lamb was cooked to perfection. The owner was so kind & made the night so special. Highly recommended for food aficionados!!
Spectacular meal! Excellent service, cozy atmosphere. The lamb shank was phenomenal, great wine, delicious halibut too. We enjoyed our meal as a family of 4 with two teenagers. The best that Quebec has to offer! You must go here.
