À propos

Petit Bistro Local qui adore travailler les produits du Terroir. Tout est fait maison en commençant par le pain ou le Smoked Meat, même le kechup! Nous travaillons un menu ardoise ou nous proposons une game de plats Bistro qui changent selon les arrivages de saison. Par exemple le sanglier, et le cerf se retrouve souvent sur notre ardoise. De plus, un sommelier est toujours sur place pour vous conseiller et vous faire découvrir ses nouvelles trouvailles. Une carte des vins d’environ 200 étiquettes qui se renouvelle régulièrement avec une grande variété de vin au verre. La cave a vin peut également être réservé sur demande pour vos événements privés.

Ambiance plus que chaleureuse dans ce bâtiment historique en pierre datant de 1827.

Our group of 7 foodies had an AMAZING dinner prepared by chef Julie. Michael provided incredible service, making for a memorable night in Quebec. One of our favorite dining experiences during our week long trip!

Tout était parfait. Les plats sont succulents, notamment le bison. le cadre, l'accueil & les conseils sont parfaits. Ne vous fiez pas à la rue, notamment en raison des travaux, poussez la porte & vous ne serez pas déçu.

C'est un très bel endroit. Il y a peu de choix sur le menu mais tout est très bon. Le personnel est très accueillant.

Loved this charming restaurant. Friendly chef owned restaurant, we enjoyed this creative restaurant. Food was so good & excellent cocktails. Cozy atmosphere in a very old building. Super comfortable seating. Highly recommend.

We had three dinners at similar restaurants while in Quebec City this past week. BeClub came out on top overall & had the best entree (Soft Cod), best dessert (Rhubarb tart), ambiance (right combination of mood & music) & the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We expected the best food & got it, mostly. We expected amazing service & did not see it sorry to say. Am I picky, maybe, we do travel a lot. So this is why we gave it three stars. Started out great with Mike then we were handed off to another woman that was dressed in a kitchen uniform. Ok maybe not fair but thats the best way to describe it. First round of drinks came-awesome. Ordered a appetizer - La Voisine, Dinner special, Wild Boar & Bison Rib. Our dinners came & we said we ordered a appetizer. She returned to the kitchen with our meals & came back fairly quickly with our La Voisine. She did not bring plates so we waited & asked for some. A bit concerned our dinner will get cold we ate the appetizer( was delicious!) & the meals came back quickly. So now I'm picky, No fresh dinnerware & ok until we watched the next table get fresh dinnerware. Strike two. We planned on having wine with dinner but didn't see her again & our meal was done. No dessert due to our feeling it was time to go.
The wild boar was great! cooked to perfection with a sweet barbecue (where were the potatoes? I didn't see any?) the Bison, again great & cooked to perfection with a smokey barbecue. The service was surprisingly weak this night & did not match the high reviews that we so closely follow. We were a bit surprised with this $150.00 meal.

Outstanding food, people & ambience!
We loved BEC. The owner & chefs are undoubtedly passionate about food, & proud of their venue & culinary offerings. We enjoyed the peaceful ambiance & learning about the dishes & drinks we were served. We aimed to get the feel of the local cuisine, & this awesome place totally delivered. We had the foie gras, one of the specials - grilled calamari with quinoa, the bison rib, & 3 desserts - berry sorbet, sugar cream & panna cotta - all exceptional, mouthwatering & unique. Truly a hidden gem!
