The indoor seating area is a bit crowded. We had a simple lunch & an onion soup - the lunch was okay, but the soup totally blew us away! I'd recommend anyone visiting Quebec to stop by & try it!

Adorable, quaint diner. Soooo many options. Breakfast all day. Poutine options looked great. The French meat pie was delicious. The pork meatball stew was delicious as well. The option to add soup & a tea or coffee to an entree was a great bargain.
Parked at the port lot nearby & was an easy walk over.
Would absolutely come back again for the variety alone.

It was packed in here, which created a good atmosphere. The room was sweating hot & would have benefited from having the door propped open. The French onion soup was really nice & very filling. The salad we ordered afterward was amusingly large & was a strange combination of chicken, apple, tomato, green pepper, lettuces, an orange slice, coleslaw, croutons, & more.

We decided to eat at this restaurant after reading the reviews. Unfortunately our experience was less than expected. We ordered the pea soup with a hamburger & the pea soup never was delivered. We left the restaurant having not received it as it was'still warming up'! Will not return or recommend this restaurant!

We had to wait in line for about half an hour before being seated. It's fine if you're not in a hurry & you have someone with you to talk with. We did notice our food was served later than other tables, we weren't sure if it was because of the dish we ordered. Most of the tables around us ordered breakfast food while I ordered spaghetti. I took the option to include soup in my meal & it also included crackers, a piece of bread, & butter. I asked the staff regarding the dessert that would be included if I ordered the top up (there was also that option) & she told me we definitely can but to decide on that later if I still wanted to. No wonder, because the spaghetti was as it showed in the menu pictures. It was the size of the entire plate with thick gooey mozzarella over it (I'm not complaining). It would feed 2 people. I had to ask my friend to help me finish it because it would be a waste since we couldn't have the remaining to go since we were leaving the city later on & it would be a hassle to be carrying food around. We still couldn't finish it because my friend also had to finish her own food.

Anyway, good service, good food which you can definitely share. What's not to like.

I got a Poutine & the bean soup, my friend got the breakfast poutine & everything was VERY GOOD. Portion sizing is good, not too big like american breakfast sizing, but enough to fuel you up for the day. Prices are a bit high, but the location & atmosphere as well as the food make it all worthwhile. Staff was very friendly & they do speak English for tourist if you need.
