We were really looking forward to trying some traditional Quebec fare & had a chilly but fun conversation with some locals while we waited outside for a table. The peasoup was very good but the classic meat pie & stew were disappointing by any standards, much less those of a highly rated local favorite. The food was overcooked & generally bland, not what you'd expect for a city known for culinary excellence.

If you want good traditional Quebec food, this is the place. They have traditional diner selections too. Our meal was amazing. We asked the server what to order & we were not disappointed. Highly recommend.

The restaurant in Old Quebec offers an authentic dining experience with its classic decor & meticulously prepared dishes.

We ordered the Eggs Benedict, fish & chips, club sandwich, & pudding for dessert, each dish was executed very well. The Eggs Benedict had a creamy hollandaise sauce, the fish was crispy, & the club sandwich was generously filled with nice ingredients with a generous portion. The pudding was a delightful finish, rich, sweet & satisfying.

The service was exceptional, with staff being friendly, attentive, & genuinely helpful.

Loved their onion soup, comforting, delicious & very reasonably priced! Much better & cheaper than many supposedly good restos. Service was amazing as well. Will definitely be back again!

We had the l'assiette brunch & la cochonne for breakfast. Both were great but the cochonne was even better. I reccomend giving it a try. It's really a breakfast poutine, but its well balanced & not too filling for breakfast as you think it may be. Coffee comes with free refills. Service was very good considering it was quite busy when we were there.

Excelente servicio, nos atendieron muy bien y en espanol. El único inconveniente es que honestamente la comida es algo mala. Los precios estan okay, pero no lo recomendaría, lo siento.
