However, I feel ordering individual dishes would have been better, as some items, like the fish, were difficult to share in such small portions. While the food, ambiance, & service were wonderful, the sharing option isn't ideal for a group of four. Even nearby diners mentioned feeling hungry. It's sad to leave with a $358 bill & still feel hungry. This option might work better for smaller groups or individual orders. But thank you for the lovely evening
Incredible cuisine with local ingredients & a new menu every week perfectly befitting the season. Excellent timing for dishes. The bilingual servers are wonderful & enthusiastic about the cuisine, which, paired with the intimate ambiance, elevates the experience even further. Absolutely would return the next time I'm in Quebec City!
Great find on our recent trip to Quebec. A short walk from the old city. Reservations a must. I counted 25 seats including those at the bar. Multiple groups were turned away while we dined as not a seat was empty for 2 hours. Wonderful farm to table approach. They make their own cheese & pasta & butcher their own meat. Imaginative dishes & wide ranging, well priced, wine list. Food was great. Service was impeccable - personable, helpful, but still professional while fluently bilingual.
Fantastic food, fabulous wine, phenomenal service - what more do you want? The dishes are delicious & considered - I mean, have you ever had morels stuffed with chicken wing meat? Wine from Georgia, Jura, Macedonia, & more. & crucially - friendly, knowledgeable, & happily bilingual service.
Unique dishes full of flavour. Everything about this restaurant is 5 star. Portions are a bit small if you're used to eating a lot but it was acceptable for us. So glad we came here
I was shocked that I got a 3-star experience at a place with a 4.8-star rating. The glass of wine is $12, the pour size is so small that I can finish in 1 sip. All the dishes portions are so small but charge full entree price. I came because of the reviews, but I walked out regrettably. Only the duck ham was charged reasonably. The bill was $145 for 2, we left hungry.

The food was an inspiring blend of Quebecois produce masterfully crafted into alternative but familiar dishes. My girlfriend & I could not help but order the whole menu as each plate effortlessly beckoned the next few dishes. The experience culminated into the last few dishes which were gnocchi & beef cheek, & the flavors tied the whole dinner together.
Staff were outstanding & incredibly knowledgeable about their food & especially their wines. They are in good spirits & keep you laughing through the evening. Buvette Scott can easily go toe to toe with what you think is the best.

Excellent food in a cozy, yet peppy ambiance. Oysters were great, & the selection of seasonal dishes were all delicious.

A memorable dinner for my wife Joan & I. I'm grateful to Marine for the perfect wine pairings she selected for my dishes. Each dish was original & delicious.

Our thanks to the neighborhood around rue Saint-Jean & rue Scott for supporting this little gem of a restaurant. The daily changing menu of small plates is varied & inventive. The staff know their extensive wine cellar & give guests excellent tasting choices to match the dishes. Pace is comfortable & not rushed. Reservations recommended as the locals clearly love this restaurant. & now, so do we.
