Café Félin Ma Langue Aux Chats is widely praised as a cozy and relaxing space where visitors can enjoy good food and beverages while interacting with friendly, well-maintained cats. Many guests appreciate the café's inclusive employment mission, which prioritizes opportunities for individuals with disabilities and veterans, creating a warm, community-focused environment that feels like a welcoming living room. While most reviews highlight the pleasant atmosphere and kind staff, some visitors have expressed concerns regarding cleanliness, occasional odors, the presence of clutter, and the speed of service. Additionally, opinions are divided regarding the origin and physical condition of the cats, as well as the strictness of health-related guidelines such as removing shoes and handwashing, though supporters view these measures as essential for the animals' well-being.
That was take worst experience I have ever had in my life. I am not exaggerating. I ordered 3 hot chocolates, all they did was pour chocolate milk in a glass & warmed it up, guess how much it costs….$20! When we were walking in they made us take our shoes off, it was probably for sanitary reasons, but that whole place was unsanitary. So we went to put our coats down & when we were gonna pay, then the lady basically yelled to take them of the chairs because we were sitting next to the cats, & because we were taking u chairs for other ppl, THERE WAS NO ONE THERE! After got our hot chocolates the staff went to sit on the couches & started bad mouthing us ( I speak French I could understand). Finally we left because we were so unpleased & didn't drink the hot chocolates. I looked through the window & they took the hot chocolates & drank them! If the staff is reading this I hope you will be better ppl some day.
That was not an amazing experience. We ordered 3 hot chocolates & they gave us hot chocolate milk, then they started bad talking us ( we speak French but they didn't know) then we left after not drinking any & they literally drank them. & when we were ordering & they just said move your jackets but on a side note the cats were super sweet but the staff were very rude. I quote they said' but they didn't even drink any'. But in French. But the cats were so cute.
Lovely little cat café in Québec City! The hot chocolate was very well presented & was tasty, but scalding hot. The cats were adorable & friendly & were very well cared for. Atmopshere was nice with a warm & cosy feel, aside from the piles of household clutter behind our table which brought it down a little. Service was acceptable, very little customer interaction though. Would recommend for a unique cafe option!

Nice location & the cats were adorable & chill. Staff explained the basic procedures on sanitation & ordering well. They were also accommodating on the language. I love supporting local businesses with a cause like this as well. However, something they may need to improve on is the furniture & decor which may need a little rearrangement, cleaning, & maybe update so it doesn't feel cluttered & be more comfortable for customers. As for food & drinks, the chocolate fondant was too rich & heavy we couldn't really finish it but the smores hot chocolate was great. Overall a happy experience for us as tourists & cat lovers.
I loved my experience here. The cats were so cute, I had a croissant & a hot chocolate & they were good. I didn't know this before going, but most of the staff are autistic which made me feel super comfortable as an autistic person myself. They also obviously care a lot for the cats as they made us take off our shoes & wash our hands right away :) I had lots of fun!
Homely & eclectic, this cosy cafe has a lot of heart & it was such a nice haven from the busy streets! We enjoyed some drinks & a chocolate croissant. The owner shook the treat jar & all of a sudden, many cats appeared to greet us! Laid back atmosphere & an ethical approach to running the cafe.
It was a great atmosphere! Very calm & peaceful & the food was very good too. Especially the chocolate croissant & soup. The employee that greeted us was also very polite & welcomimg. Overall a great experience & the cats were beautiful! However, in my personal opinion it doesn't sit right with me that they were declawed & purebred but that's absolutely my only complaint.
It was a delightful experience. The atmosphere was cozy, & the cute cats roaming around added a unique charm. Their adorable antics truly made my day. The hot chocolate, especially the white chocolate variant, was phenomenal. Creamy & rich, it complemented the feline company perfectly. A purrfect blend of warmth & cuteness!
Very laid back atmosphere but with appreciated safety measures for cats. I stopped by briefly & got a hot chocolate (very yummy) cats are adorable but like most cat cafes will only say hello on their own terms if at all. You will need to take your shoes off & wash your hands- but this can give your socks a chance to dry :p
