Enfin, & ce n'est pas le moins important, veuillez nettoyer l'endroit ! C'est très sale & ça sent mauvais !
Nous avons adoré l'endroit, & encore plus les humains qui le font vivre. L'histoire, la mission & la raison d'être sont profondément nobles & empreintes de coeur. Bravo !
Travaillant moi-même dans le domaine animalier, je sais à quel point il est exigeant de maintenir un environnement aussi propre, tout en offrant un tel niveau de confort aux animaux. Cela demande énormément d'implication, de rigueur & surtout de bienveillance.
Prendre le temps de former & d'accompagner des personnes vivant avec des défis physiques & cognitifs est tout simplement remarquable. Tout le monde mérite de sentir qu'il a sa place, & ici, c'est réellement le cas.
Si vous êtes pressé, ce n'est peut-être pas l'endroit pour vous. Ici, le temps ralentit… & le coeur prend toute la place.
My partner & I were very excited to come to the cat cafe.
Unfortunately, it was not the highlight of our trip.
When you enter you are asked to take your shoes off, which would be fine but the entry area is quite gross & not clean.
When you come inside it is clean-ish but there is a cat smell & a lot of clutter. We sat down at the only table available, & I would recommend that the cafe only have tables with a smooth surface, instead of slats, as our table had lots of cat dander, fur, & other unknowns in-between each slat. Then menus & cards on the table are old & have a bit of an unpleasant smell to them. I ordered the fruit salad, the smell, cleanliness & poor quality of the fruit meant my food went basically untouched. My partner finished his croissant.
The mission behind the shop is great, & I appreciate the equal employment opportunities. The cats also all looked healthy*. *We saw another review after we went saying the cats are declawed, is this true? We weren't there very long to notice.

J'ai adoré mon expérience à cet endroit. La nourriture est délicieuse & les prix sont abordables. On voit véritablement que les animaux s'y sentent bien. De plus, la mission de l'entreprise est très touchante. Bref, un arrêt s'impose pour les amoureux des chats!
I came to the cafe as a tourist visiting Quebec City on vacation. As a huge cat lover with three cats myself, I was excited to spot a cat cafe while riding the city bus & knew that I had to pay a visit.
To preface, I am shocked that this place has a 4+ star rating in its current state…
I went to the cafe on a weekday around 11am, & I was pretty shocked at how unsanitary & poorly kept the place was. Right away as you enter, you're instructed to take off your shoes for the cats' health, but the slippers they provide are very dirty & smell bad. I felt gross putting my feet in them. When you walk in, it smells like cat excrements & just has a dirty atmosphere. The upholstered furniture is absolutely covered in stains, probably from cat pee, but I'm not sure. The food preparation area is not separated from the cats, which seemed unsanitary, & I had cat fur in my latte.
Most of the cats seem comfortable enough, but I noticed that most (if not all of them) are declawed, which is very inhumane. I don't know if they came to the cafe that way or if the owners had that done to them. There was also a fluffy cat that was constantly growling & seemed to be in some pain, it was sad to watch how upset he was even while just grooming himself.
I went to the cafe with the intention of sitting for a while & reading a book, but I was so uncomfortable there I couldn't stay more than the time it took to drink my latte, which I only drank to not appear rude.
The reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the service was friendly & welcoming enough, & I really do support the mission of the cafe. However, there are some substantial improvements that should be made to the establishment to make it cleaner & more comfortable for guests.
Que dire, oui, il y de beaux chats, mais endroit laisse a désirer. Très bordélique & je dirais même pas très propre ... Café très ordinaire... On dirait qu'on rentre dans un appartement & ambiance est bizarre... Ou ont a peur de dérangé. La mission est peut être noble , mais ...

C'est toujours un plaisir d'aller relaxer au café félin ! Une ambiance chaleureuse & confortable y règne. Les petits amours de minous sont super drôle à voir & très bien pris soin. Maiden est super ! Il prend bien soins de ces frères & soeurs félins. Très beau menu ! Merci à Lisa de bien nous expliquer la mission du café. Je vous recommande fortement.
Nous avons adoré notre expérience unique à ce café, étant de plus amoureux des chats. Le personnel est sympathique & chaleureux, on s'y sent comme à la maison. Les boissons & la nourriture étaient très bons & abordables. Les chats étaient très gentils & colleux🥹 Endroit à visiter au moins une fois! Merci encore pour votre mission animale 🐾
Jolis chats, ambiance relax, belle mission. Par contre on se sent VRAIMENT comme.si on rentrait chez quelqu'un donc il y a une certaine impression de déranger qui s'installe.
