Café Félin Ma Langue Aux Chats is widely praised as a cozy and relaxing space where visitors can enjoy good food and beverages while interacting with friendly, well-maintained cats. Many guests appreciate the café's inclusive employment mission, which prioritizes opportunities for individuals with disabilities and veterans, creating a warm, community-focused environment that feels like a welcoming living room. While most reviews highlight the pleasant atmosphere and kind staff, some visitors have expressed concerns regarding cleanliness, occasional odors, the presence of clutter, and the speed of service. Additionally, opinions are divided regarding the origin and physical condition of the cats, as well as the strictness of health-related guidelines such as removing shoes and handwashing, though supporters view these measures as essential for the animals' well-being.
We have visited this place some time ago. Unfortunately, our experience there was not great. There are cute cats everywhere but, some seats are stained wit urine & the smell is pretty strong. We live with pets too but for an establishment serving food, an extra effort should be made to meet the hygene requirements.

Visited while waiting for our train back to Ottawa today. Such a great little cafe! Small veteran owned business! The coffee & Americano were amazing. Croissant was tasty - meant for my son but I ate most of it 😂. Loved being able to pet the cats anytime. One you need to watch - he's a mooch lol. Love a business who employs people with disabilities specifically those with ASD, we brought my son here who is on the spectrum & I was able to show him how to be gentle with cats knowing he wouldn't be judged or told no. Very welcoming! Will visit again when I'm back in Quebec City!
LOVED IT!!!!! There was a male cat there who I fell in love with. He was so soft & let me pet him for hours. Dark my water which was cute. I believe his name is oliver. The drinks & food were nice. The staff were lovely 10/10 recommend. No entrance fee. Just pay for what you want to order. Wear socks, you will need to take off your shoes before going inside.
I came here today, & its great!! Not only are the cats cute, & the atmosphere is pretty awesome, the food is extra delicious! If you're coming to Quebec, or live here it is a MUST for you to come at least once! Also, I've seen people in the reviews saying that the workers aren't social, honestly it's a cat cafe for you to be social with the cats, not with the workers. I went & actually the workers were really nice & welcoming. Ive also seen them talking about the dishes & couches, its a cat cafe its not going to be 100% clean, it is clean & meets the standards I didn't see any unclean matresses or dishes, obviously they are not the best as it is not a luxurious restaurant its a cat cafe where cats are roaming around & well they obviously like to play in the chairs so... & the dishes are not even unclean they are as a normal cafe has them but in general it is clean, also I see people talking about the prices, it is not expensive but it is not the cheapest cafe you're ever going to be in, you have to keep in mind that they also have a family & pets to feed, trust me it is the same prices as a normal cafes prices so it is actually affordable. & well it has nice staff, great & fun atmosphere, calm environment, the cutest cats, & the most delicious & affordable foods & drinks, so I would def recommend!! (Ps: try their hot chocolate, & the brownie! The brownie is the most delicious brownie I've tried in my life & im not even kidding)
Depuis on y retourne régulièrement 😍👍
