My hubby & I LOVE this cafe. We are there daily during our stays in Quebec City. Perfect coffee & baked goods - always satisfied.

This photo was taken on a Monday morning after our walk to the cafe before our trip back home. Close walking distance from our stay at the Hilton Quebec hotel.

Ordered a caramel latte & cappuccino, cheese bun & almond croissants.

We were fortunate to meet the owner of the cafe during our exit - very nice gentleman. We will be back soon! :)

In general it is one of my favorite café however I think there is room for improvement. Carré aux fraises was still half frozen, & the coffee was in the boiling temperature. The person who handed me told me it is hot, but I don't think filter coffee should be served at such temperature.

While I was using the restroom, they tossed out my coffee, which was in a to go cup. I probably should have taken my coffee with me. But that was my table 🤔
The person offered me coffee again which was nice of her. But the coffee was just then in the right temperature. So it was a bit unpleasant.

The coffee was good but the pastries (croissants & waffles) were so bad we did not eat them. Staff was friendly & atmosphere was fine.

I was looking for a'not so big' breakfast experience. Some nice coffee & a pastry, or something light, or European. This spot hit the nail on the head! So much so, we went back twice (& that's saying a lot, given all the available choices). We shared a lovely slice of quiche Lorraine & an awesome croissant while sipping some quality coffee (nothing fancy in this case - just straight up Americano - but it tasted great)! Very friendly staff, nice music, & great people-watching from the counter (this was the St-Jean location). Highly recommend!

Walked by this cafe to order a coffee. Place looks nice & thought coffee would be great. Service was slow considering it wasn't busy & we didn't order anything complicated. First an Americano. Took 5-10 minutes & only 1 person ahead of us. Later I went & ordered a Latte - about 5 minutes too. & surprisingly both coffees were sort of cool… not sure how when it's made fresh. Flavour was good. Good roasted coffee but disappointed a bit. I know it's a chain. Maybe it's better in other locations.

The place was really cute & bigger than what it looks in the pictures. My barista was a blue hair piercing they/them gay so that's when you know the coffee will be goood!!

They had good quality of coffee & dessert (definetly try the raspberry cheesecake). Like every other touristic area it was a bit over priced. At least the price was worth the quality of the products.

Interior is nice. Service is also fine, people were nice & did their job well. But the pastries & coffee are absolutely horrible. When they ask you if you want your pain au chocolate warmed up that is a clear sign something is wrong. Flat white tasted horrendous - you can literally feel the cheapest beans used.
