Walked by this cafe to order a coffee. Place looks nice & thought coffee would be great. Service was slow considering it wasn't busy & we didn't order anything complicated. First an Americano. Took 5-10 minutes & only 1 person ahead of us. Later I went & ordered a Latte - about 5 minutes too. & surprisingly both coffees were sort of cool… not sure how when it's made fresh. Flavour was good. Good roasted coffee but disappointed a bit. I know it's a chain. Maybe it's better in other locations.
Malgré que le café n'y soit pas mauvais, le service n'est pas bon du tout. Attendre 15 minutes pour un café, debout dans un coin, du pour au final qu'il n'ait jamais été mis en préparation ce n'est pas possible. Peut être un oubli mais dans tout les cas le système de service n'est pas au point, l'impression d'être dans une salle d'attente, sans sièges... Pas ce que j'attends d'un café.

We ate here 3 different times for brunch/lunch. Enjoyed the giant croissants with jam & delicious lattes. Also had a tasty ham & cheese croissant. The smoked meat & cheese sandwiches were excellent.
Really like the atmosphere. Barrista adjed me what music I'd like to hear when I walked in the door & 10 seconds later Natalia Lafourcade was playing & stayed on the entire time I was there. So relaxing. I had the salted caramel latte. Really good
I used to enjoy the coffee here, but my last visit on March 26, 2026, was very disappointing. I ordered a salted caramel latte, & it was not tasty at all. My boyfriend had an espresso, which tasted burnt & overly bitter. Unfortunately, we couldn't even finish our drinks. It's a shame because this place used to be great, I hope they improve their quality again.
This is a a downtown location of a very popular Quebec city chain of cafés. A very nice atmosphere, but I had better expectations given all the hype. Had a maple latté that I found mediocre in taste & in presentation. Service was below average & baristas did not seem to be very interested.

Au final, pour une place de café, il n'a aucun latte art.
Beau concept, bons produits finalement tout pour réussir comme le démontre son extension incroyable. Toutefois, rue Saint Jean, un service à la clientèle pitoyable, hautain & parfois méprisant!! On s'attend de mieux que cela comme voisin qui fréquentons cette buvette régulièrement. Comme si le personnel nous rend un grand privilège de nous servir!! Mérite un petit resserrement.
En tant que résidente du Vieux-Québec, j'ai présenté ma carte de voisin lors de ma visite. Cependant, j'ai ressenti une attitude peu accueillante, comme si ma demande dérangeait. L'expérience a été désagréable, d'autant plus que l'attention semblait davantage portée sur le contenu du bol de pourboires que sur le service offert.
