Beau concept, bons produits finalement tout pour réussir comme le démontre son extension incroyable. Toutefois, rue Saint Jean, un service à la clientèle pitoyable, hautain & parfois méprisant!! On s'attend de mieux que cela comme voisin qui fréquentons cette buvette régulièrement. Comme si le personnel nous rend un grand privilège de nous servir!! Mérite un petit resserrement.

En tant que résidente du Vieux-Québec, j'ai présenté ma carte de voisin lors de ma visite. Cependant, j'ai ressenti une attitude peu accueillante, comme si ma demande dérangeait. L'expérience a été désagréable, d'autant plus que l'attention semblait davantage portée sur le contenu du bol de pourboires que sur le service offert.

Gorgeous coffee shop on a magical street! Very instagrammable inside! There's plenty of seating, especially upstairs. You'll need to take a breather after walking the step hilly streets of Québec City! Maybe suggest the chocolat chaud- it's a divine hot chocolate topped with fresh vanilla whip cream. Oooh la la! They all spoke English here though QC is know for leaning more towards French with a side of English.

The drinks & pastries were quite good, however the service was far from what we expected. The person who took our order (a tall white gentlemen with a bowl haircut) was extremely rude. I heard him speak English to the customer before us, so when we went up to order we naturally ordered in English. However, he would only respond to us in French. This made it uncomfortable to order & actually get the food we wanted. When I confronted him after for being rude, & asked if it's because we don't know French he told me he was English. Perhaps he treated us this way because we are south Asian. Overall I'm very disappointed with the service & this is not what I expected.

Cet endroit m'a été recommandé par ma fille. Nous avons été très déçus. Les breuvages étaits froids & sans saveur. Jai demandé une chocolatine & j'ai reçu une amandine. Le lieu était bondé de gens, un samedi. Peut-être avons-nous frappé une mauvaise journée?

J'adore aller à ce café lorsque nous sommes à QC. Première fois qu'on allait à cette succursale & elle est encore plus belle que celle sur Des Jardins. Je voulais tester leur chocolat chaud du moment, au sirop de sapin baumier. Il n'y en avait malheureusement plus, alors ils ont eu la bonne idée de me proposer de le faire avec du sirop de lait de poule. Très bon :)

Dec2024 Popular trendy cafe chain that is a hybrid cafe & bistro. This particular outlet has a larger cut & is able to separate the two sections into two separate dining & service counter sections. The pastries at the cafe section are noticeable huge. Service is tourist friendly with very amiable english speaking staff. The areas are clean, rustic & compatible to the Upper Old Town area feel. Expect a large tourist trade with plenty of groups esp during cold seasons.
