About

Café La Maison Smith serves as a quintessential hub for artisanal coffee enthusiasts and connoisseurs of fine pastries within the historic city core. The menu highlights a sophisticated selection of house-roasted beans, prepared through precise extraction methods to ensure a balanced profile in every cup. Patrons select from a meticulously curated display of traditional French-style viennoiseries, including buttery croissants and pain au chocolat baked to achieve perfect lamination. The interior space features a rustic aesthetic characterized by stone walls and timber elements that define the environment. These distinct architectural details complement the focus on high-quality baked goods and specialty beverages. Every offering reflects a commitment to traditional preparation techniques that maintain the integrity of classic café culture through consistent flavor and texture profiles.

I don't think this place is super cute.
It's a great location.
The service was great, but I feel like if you are going for a nice , cute, chique environment, this isn't the place.
Perhaps we ordered the wrong item (pecan pie) because it was actually disgusting. But there are probably other yummy things to try.

The service is excellent; the staff are very kind & attentive.

They are also pet-friendly. Pets are welcome on the patio, & if they are calm & well-behaved, they are allowed inside as well. They even gave our dog some treats, which was a very thoughtful touch.

The food is delicious. We especially recommend the quiche au jambon & bacon & the torsade choco- franboise. Honestly, everything is worth trying!

The food is fresh, & you can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite.

We stopped for coffee, but ended up buying some savouries as well that were unique & appetising. We enjoyed the food really well. Prices were also decent for the portion.
It was crowded & since the indoor spacing was small, we had to quickly grab the seats. They do have outdoor seating as well. But those get occupied first!
