This is a perfect location of La Maison Smith-wonderful food & coffee in the very pleasant surroundings of the Plains of Abraham. A quieter place than from busier areas of tourist Quebec.
Great spot! We were walking for quite a while & stumbled upon this gem in the middle of the Plains of Abraham - it was such a relief. They offer refreshing drinks, including wine, beer, & some amazing coffee concoctions. The croissants were delicious, & the iced teas were perfectly done. A wonderful place to relax & recharge.

Just grabbed a grand Americano. Best coffee anywhere near Le Concorde (really good!) & the barrister was really nice even though I'm incredibly awkward 🤣 thank you!
Excellent coffee in the most beautiful natural surroundings. The coffee & pastries at Smith are much better than what you'll find in downtown Quebec, & you'll be heading out to visit the scenic Plains of Abraham anyway (for example, try the Cap Blanc stairs with its 398 steps-then you'll really be ready for an iced coffee afterward). Smith offers plenty of seating both indoors & outdoors, clean restrooms, & a station to refill your water bottles for free. A super friendly place.
