Best coffee shop in the area. Their coffee is delicious, they have lots of alternative milk options & actually know how to steam them properly. The seating outside is also super nice.

In addition to a full menu of espresso drinks & pour overs, they also have a huge selection of small batch roasted beans available for purchase in increments of 100g. I had a Costa Rican brewed in a Chemex. It was excellent & very reasonably priced. A few tables inside & on the sidewalk outside the store are the seating options. The location is on a nice street a few hundred yards away from the busy streets in old town. Highly recommend their coffee.

Super cute & lovely atmosphere. The coffee is really good & they have a good balance of sweetness for the mocha. Also cool to see they roast coffee in house. If I had one thing I would change, that would be more seating inside to enjoy the decorations. Definitely will come back next time I am in Quebec!

Cantook is hands down one of the cutest coffee shops in Quebec City. The vibe is cozy & inviting, with a perfect mix of rustic charm & modern comfort. The coffee? Absolutely delicious - rich, smooth, & clearly crafted with care.

The staff are friendly & passionate about what they do, which adds to the welcoming feel. Whether you're grabbing a quick espresso or sitting down to enjoy a slow morning, Cantook is the perfect spot. A must-visit for coffee lovers & anyone who appreciates good energy & great taste!

Loved it. Very much a micro roaster with a cafe attached, which to me is heaven. So many beans available.

The Ethiopian bean on filter coffee today was fantastic, tea body, bright & fruity. My partner loved her iced Americano also.

Ordered: flat white, hazelnut chocolate chip cookie, & iced chai.

The flat white was smooth & a little nutty, not at all sour, & server at the right temperature. A 5/5 coffee. As a sweet treat, the cookie was tasty, with large chunks of hazelnut, & paired nicely with the coffee. There was another occasion when I tried the matcha cookie which is probably made with almond flour. The chocolate chip cookie wins decisively against it.

Incredibly, despite how tasty & well-made the coffee was, the iced chai stole the show. Richly milky, probably sweetened with some homemade flavored syrup, & spiced the right amount, it's without a doubt the best I have ever tried. Highly recommend.
