Best coffee shop in town. I had an excellent Citron & Dirty Chai Latte glacé. Seating inside & some outside. Friendly & quick. Great place to read a book & unwind. Lots of shops & restaurants nearby.
We came here 5 years ago & looked for it again in a short visit. Wonderful coffee & a beautiful space just outside of the hustle of the touristy old port.
Excellent coffee, roasted on site. Knowledgeable staff. There are a few seats inside & more outside. They don't serve food but had some pastries on the counter. The Americano coffee was strong & one of the best I've ever had. Good prices too. Cantook is a short walk from the old city walls on Rue St. Jean. It will be our regular coffee shop during our 4 month stay in Old QC
Didn't try any snacks, but the coffee was great & the staff was very knowledgeable & kind. Would recommend if you enjoy a good pour over!
This coffee roastery roasts coffee from various countries around the world such as Costa Rica, El Salvador, Indonesia & Africa itself. Coffee beans can be bought whole for use at home or freshly ground in the store. Comfortably furnished, the perfect place for coffee to start the day. Unfortunately, there are no croissants or pastries on offer for breakfast, which you could enjoy with the delicious coffee.
I can't comment on the food/cookies. The coffee selection is large & the staff have a good know-how on where the coffee has been harvested & how they have been processed. I believe they have direct contact to some of the plantations in Costa Rica & are directly involved in parts of the process. They are very helpful with any questions you may have in regards to the different coffee beans they sell & take their time. The atmosphere is cozy. Recommend to come here!
