Beautiful restaurant with a charming Arabic atmosphere. The prices are reasonable & the food is very tasty! I suspect the kitchen forgot to add oil/vinegar/lemon to the Tunisian salad, would highly recommend for the full flavor!

We noticed this unassuming restaurant on our way back to our hotel. We are from NYC & we love to try different cuisines. We are pleasantly surprised how delicious the food is & how friendly the Lady who served us. We felt at home the moment we walked in & the food tasted like it's homemade. We regret to discover this gem on our last day in Old Quebec but had we found it a little earlier on our trip we would have frequented this place. We ordered the Shish Taouk (sp), Chicken couscous, Beef Pita & the soup & did not disappoint. All of it tasted authentic & savory. The fresh mint tea was perfect & refreshing even it was served hot. I feel bad that these kind of places do not get appreciated as much because there's not much of a foot traffic. I recommend this place for those who are looking for a great food & the price is not too bad at the same time. Highly recommended. ❤?❤?❤?

Delicious food, The shrimp was amazing as well as the lamb couscous it fell-off the bone & it melts in your mouth. The tea & sweets were great aswell! Very Friendly staff & I highly recommend!

By far the best meal we had in Quebec City! So much so that we ate here 4 times in a 6 day trip! The staff/owners were kind & the atmosphere was beautiful. If you're in Quebec City I HIGHLY recommend visiting Carthage Express.

Une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle ! Les plats sont délicieux : nous avons commandé du kafteji, du lablebi & du couscous, trois spécialités 100% tunisiennes, & les trois plats étaient très bons. Le service est impeccable, l'ambiance chaleureuse, & la serveuse est souriante. De plus, les prix sont abordables. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant

Une expérience exceptionnelle ! L'emplacement du restaurant est parfait, idéal pour profiter de la beauté de Vieux-Québec. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une chaleur & une convivialité remarquables. Le service est impeccable, nous avons été servis royalement, ce qui a rendu l'expérience encore plus agréable. Côté cuisine, tout était délicieux. Le brik était croustillant & savoureux, la spaghetti avec boulettes de viande, un vrai régal. Mais la meilleure surprise pour moi a été la slata méchouia : une explosion de saveurs qui m'a rappelé les délices authentiques de la Tunisie. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant pour un voyage culinaire mémorable dans un cadre chaleureux & accueillant.
