I had the braised beef cheek. It's so tender that it melted in my mouth! The service was excellent! Milan, our server was very efficient & fun! I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Quebec! It's Michelin recommend led for 2025. I won't be surprised if it gets awarded a Michelin star…

Experience was amazing. Food was delicious. Staff were very attentive. We enjoyed the onion soup cappuccino, beef tartare, fish cake appetizer, beef cheek main, & bison steak with fries.

Very delicious food, especially the seasonal specials. The braised beef cheek is a classic, we also loved the tuna gravalax. Onion soup had a delicious foam. Best we've had in Quebec so far! Seabuckthorn tart was the best!

Chez Boulay did not disappoint! I went here for my anniversary dinner & we absolutely loved it.

The food was delicious & unique. We had the Trout carpaccio, Duck pate, Bison cut with veggies, & the signature braised Beef cheek. The Carpaccio, Bison, & Beef Cheek were super flavourful & very filling. I wasn't the biggest fan of the Duck pate but it I'm sure others like it.

The restaurant decor & service was also top notch. Our waiter, Arnaud, was fabulous, providing a lot of insight into the menu, frequently checking in, & made us feel very welcome.

If you want a great fine dining experience in QC you should go to Chez Boulay.

Treated myself to the most perfect meal here. I had the beef cheek (so famous, completely worth it) & the sea buckthorn pie (perfect balance of sweet & tart) plus a couple of cocktails which were all lovely. This is definitely me approved & can't wait to go back.

This was our last dinner in Quebec & it didn't disappoint. The onion soup was the best we ever had. Is like a magic onion decided to bless you & puree itself in a soup. I ordered the beef cheek & it was super tender! Last time I got something so tender was a wagyu steak in Tokyo. My fiance got the bison steak & it was really good as well! Drinks were ok though, nothing spectacular but the complimentary bread wasn't the best… kind of dry & cold, it it was just warm then it would be so much better. The service was welcoming & good overall. All in all, we enjoyed our dinner & will come back!

This was the best dining experience I have had in recent memory. Our server was funny & energetic as well as knowledgeable & definitely took our experience to the next level. For our appetizer we shared the "creamy conifers" & it blew us away. I didn't really know what was in it except for the mushrooms & yet it was one of the best bites I've had in a long time. For our entrees we got the duck & the beef cheek at the recommendation of our waiter. Both were outstanding but the beef cheek was on another level, incredibly flavorful & tender, truly melted in your mouth. Overall this meal was definitely more expensive than many other restaurants in the area but well worth it for a truly unique culinary experience

The pork appetizer was outstanding & changed my life. The entrees, however, did not. I ordered the famed beef cheek & found it to be rather plain & uninspired, kind of like a tough, underseasoned pot roast. The duck entree was probably the best, though still kind of lacking in a way I can't describe. Service was outstanding, as was the atmosphere. We had a great time but it's not a place I'd recommend for the price.

The braised beef cheeks are unlike anything I've had in my life. I have no clue how they prepped these but it is HEAVENLY!
