In Quebec, Jean-Luc Boulay and Arnaud Marchand, supported by a passionate team, have been standing up to the challenge of inventing quebec inspired northern cuisine since 2012. This was the perfect first night dinner in Quebec city. We were staying down the street & after a long dive the quick walk was great. I can't say enough great things about the team & the food. I have celiacs disease & there were more choices, that did not need any modifications, than I generally have at most restaurants. The Halibut I had was one of the best preparations if fish I have had in a long time. Their wine list was interesting &, while not huge, had excellent variety & choices as well as being very fairly priced. I would definitely recommend & return!

Genuine five-star review! We tried their lunch menu. Main Course, appetizers, & desserts are all fantastic. The seasonings are perfectly balanced, ingredients are fresh, & you can really taste the care put into cooking. The staff are attentive, & the space is clean & cozy. I've already recommended this place to everyone I know & will definitely come back again!

Une expérience culinaire absolument remarquable ! Nous y étions pour un souper d'affaires & toutes les convives ont été conquises. Chaque plat était savoureux, raffiné & parfaitement exécuté, offrant une véritable expérience gustative du début à la fin. La serveuse a su nous guider avec professionnalisme grâce à ses excellents conseils, contribuant grandement à la qualité de notre soirée.

Le cadre, à la fois épuré, élégant & chaleureux, crée une ambiance idéale pour apprécier pleinement le moment. Un grand merci également à M. Auclair, dont la gestion de la réservation a été exemplaire : rapide, efficace !

Une adresse qui se démarque par la qualité de son accueil, de son service & de sa cuisine. Une magnifique découverte que je recommande chaleureusement à tous les amateurs de belles expériences gastronomiques !

Absolutely wonderful experience. Duck fous gras & Québec cheese plate were wonderful starters. Flat iron steak & braised beef cheeks were out of this world: tender, perfectly prepared. The PRICKLY ASH MOUSSE WITH ÎLE D'ORLÉANS BLACKCURRANT HEART

OUR HIVES' HONEY ICED PARFAIT, CEREAL MILK CRÈME ANGLAISE we're an excellent way to end the meal. Our server was great & explained everything to us. Highly recommend.

I had my first traditional Québec meal here, & it turned out to be one of the highlights of my day in Québec City.

The food was memorable & gave me a great introduction to local cuisine. Everything felt welcoming, & the service was excellent. The middle-aged gentleman who served me was especially kind, attentive, & patient throughout the meal.

As a visitor, first impressions matter, & this restaurant made my first Québec dining experience a very happy one. Thank you for the warm hospitality.
I would gladly recommend this place to anyone visiting Québec City.

What a fabulous brunch! I would give them 10 stars if I could! The food was exquisite, the service was attentive without being overbearing, the atmosphere is delightful. I highly recommend Chaz Boulay to anyone visiting Quebec!

Awesome restaurant. Very friendly staff with excellent food quality. Personal favorite would be the beef cheek. The onion soup is special with the foam on top. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

We went to this restaurant on recommendation of our friend that lives in Quebec City. The food was delicious & served quickly. The service was non - existent aside from the food coming to our table. Our server actually left midway through our time there & we did not appear to have anyone replace her. We could not get anyone's attention for more drinks or even the bill. We felt like we were possibly being ignored because we are english speaking as we saw other french speaking tables getting much better service. Would not go back or recommend to english speaking friends.
