staff was helpful with wine recommendations. the beef cheek was incredible, super tender & very flavorful. vegetarian options were somewhat limited but were also quite tasty. the dessert options were spectacular. we tried the maple creme brulee & the seabuckthorne meringuee with the dessert wine pairings & were blown away. would certainly come back.

The French Onion Soup & the Beef tongue were literally perfection. It melts in your mouth. This is currently my favorite restaurant of all time, & I am upset it's not in my hometown.

Bonjour,
Our experience at your restaurant was exceptional. All of the dishes were great . The bison appetizer was delicious. The beefcheek was so tender & very well seasoned. The service was very professional & the waiters wine suggestion was spot on. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas dinner

Great food & service would highly recommend!! My girlfriend & I started with the french onion soup which was out of this world followed by the beef sirloin & the beef cheek which was so soft tender & savory. Lastly we had the crème brûlée dessert which was our favorite & Bert came to sing happy birthday for the special occasion. We will be coming back for sure & this arguably is the best restaurant we've been to in Canada

Absolutely wonderful dinner here with my work colleagues. Our server was personable & kind. She served us well throughout the 3 hours we were there. The beef cheek was delicious & so was the creme brule.

Reservation is recommended. We tried the different entrees including the fish, Scottish egg, beef steak & duck confit. All were excellent. The dessert maple cake & ice cream were so good. Lunch prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.

They heavily promote their signature dishes - the beef cheeks braised for 35 hours were like mush & it was reflective of the taste. The French soup was nothing special even though it was presented as another signature dish. The carpaccio was excellent. This is a restaurant set up for high tourist turnover not for culinary excellence.
