The best meal we had in Quebec City!

The onion soup was savory sweet goodness that came with a crispy piece of cheese.

The beef cheeks just melt in your mouth. The butcher’s cut beef was tender & the fries were perfect - crispy on the outside & soft inside.

Our dessert (pudding with maple syrup) was delicious as well.

Service was lovely. Attentive & we did not feel rushed despite not having a reservation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Our waitress explained the menu in great detail , the service was excellent as well. We had the beef cheeks, roasted lamb , arctic char & the onion soup. Every item was delicious. Definitely want to come back again!

Very noisy restaurant. Disappointing food: only the scallops were good. Pan-seared foie gras was mediocre; & the butcher-piece beef was unacceptable in quality & texture. We complained about the beef & the server was nice enough to give us 50% discount on that dish. Washrooms are very clean because they belong to the hotel.

Wonderful! Best onion soup I've ever tasted. The whole meal was fantastic from the soup & cheese plate to the lamb, beef, & chicken. I don't know what they put in the crispy polenta but it was amazing. The service is above & beyond. Such a lovely meal!

Good value for money.
Entrees & fish were very good, but the presentation for the beef with asparagus was not great.
Cream brulee very tasty but clearly just taken out of the fridge.

Make sure to make reservations because this place is popular! Everything was delicious. I had the beef cheeks & the meat was so tender. The fries I had on the side were delicious as well. For dessert, I highly recommend the ice cream sandwich.

Creative menu, excellent service, great atmosphere. The waiter did a great job of recommending appetizers (arctic char carpaccio, cucumbers & shrimp), entrees (archive char & braised beef) & wine. The ambiance is fun - lively but not loud.

We LOVED everything. We got one of every appetizer except the cheese board & every single one was amazing. We shared the beef cheek & would highly recommend!! It was so tender & delicious. Service was amazing as well. Can't wait to come back one day.
