Merci à Patrice de nous avoir trouvé une table pour souper car je m'étais trompé de jour pour la réservation. & le service de Flo est toujours agréable accompagné de sa bonne humeur. La nourriture est toujours aussi excellente. Bravo l'équipe.

They heavily promote their signature dishes - the beef cheeks braised for 35 hours were like mush & it was reflective of the taste. The French soup was nothing special even though it was presented as another signature dish. The carpaccio was excellent. This is a restaurant set up for high tourist turnover not for culinary excellence.

My experience at Chez Boulay in Quebec was quite the culinary adventure! The bison steak was absolutely on point – perfectly cooked & seasoned to perfection. Unfortunately, the lamb dish left me with a bit of a fatty disappointment, drenched in an overwhelming sauce. However, the onion soup, prepared "cappuccino style," was a delightful twist with its frothy presentation. Chez Boulay offers a mixed bag of flavors, but the bison steak & the creative onion soup are the stars of the show, perfect for those looking for some trendy gastronomic moments. �

The best meal we had in Quebec City!

The onion soup was savory sweet goodness that came with a crispy piece of cheese.

The beef cheeks just melt in your mouth. The butcher’s cut beef was tender & the fries were perfect - crispy on the outside & soft inside.

Our dessert (pudding with maple syrup) was delicious as well.

Service was lovely. Attentive & we did not feel rushed despite not having a reservation.

Onion soup that I had was the BEST I've ever had, but the swordfish special that we were served had a very fishy flavor. Fresh fish should not taste "fishy". We were disappointed because I had read so many good reviews.

Souper après une soirée au Diamant & on avait pourtant prévenu notre arrivée tardive à 21:30 pour un groupe de 12 personnes.
Trop de gesticulations négatives & ostentatoires de la part du maitre d'hôtel, énervé, disgracieux. La jeune serveuse a été impeccable, heureusement, & a rattrapé en partie cet accueil qui n'en était pas un concevable & attendu de la part d'un resto de cette réputation. Voilà

What a wonderful evening! Food was spectacular. Best onion soup ever. We had lamb & arctic char for our entrees. Perfect. Our server, Melanie, was so friendly & attentive. Merci beaucoup. You should definitely have a meal at Chez Boulay

Best french onion soup we've ever tried. Don't miss this menu item. Also, outstanding scallops & lamb entrees. Excellent service from attentive, friendly staff. A real gem - don't miss this place when visiting Quebec City.
