Ambiance fantastique. Service amazing. Cocktail, wine & onion soup very very good . But our meat plate was so big & overwhelmed & the special of that night on saturday 13 was not appetizing. The chocolate dessert was over poweful with a special spice. I herd so many good things about Boulay so we were disappointed. Will need to try again on our next trip to Quebec city.

What drew me in was picture of the French onion soup, & it didn't disappoint. I would recommend everyone get that as starter or you main if your a lighter eater. Our server made the experience one of the best we had in old Quebec , matter fact all of Quebec. My teenage daughters loved the fries they couldn't figure out how they where so soft on the inside & still crispy on the out lol.

Alors nous sommes allés souper chez vous moi & ma blonde suite a une suggestion d'un collègue de travail qui à été aussi chez vous & qui a été comme nous vraiment très bien servis....service courtois,rapide,bouffe excellente & de très jolie présentation....ce fût un réel délice & nous le recommandons a tous !!!!

I made the reservation for 6 people on March 19th for July 16th & arrived to be seated in a very tight booth designed for only 4 people at the back of the restaurant beside the kitchen. We were uncomfortable, but the food was excellent & great value. The terrine of fois gras & onion soup were fantastic, & the chicken, cod, & shoulder of beef were delicious & you must order the potato purée! For dessert you must try the pot de chocolat & the crème prise. Highly recommended, but only bring your top two friends!

Fantastic food & dining experience. Highly recommend the French onion soup! I honestly think it was the best soup I have ever had. 2/4 of our party ordered the French onion soup to start, but after seeing our reactions the rest of the party ordered it as well.
