The food, the wine, the friendly helpful staff was top notched. Even after they sat us he moved us to a window seat. He ask him to trust him to bring a glass of wine that we would love & he didn't disappoint. The meal was something I will remember for a long time. The only issue was the music in background. It didn't go with the vibe of the restaurant . Jas or earthy music would of been more suitable.

Waiter was very indifferent. Had to keep flagging him down to get service. Dirty & greasy napkins never changed. Bread banged down on the table. However the food delicious. How can this be?.

Notre présence au restaurant fait suite a l'utilisation de certificat cadeau de la FORFAITERIE (nuitée au Manoir Victorias & repas chez Boulay). Ce n'était pas la première fois que nous utilisions ce procédé. Malheureusement ce sera la dernière fois!!! l'hôtel n'a pas respecter le forfait inscrit sur le certificat & a exigé un supplément de 50$ . Cette façon de faire nous a surprise & grandement choqué! La formule de nuitée a l'Hôtel & d'un soupé nous plaisait mais ne sera plus reconduite dans les circonstance....

Excellente soirée ! Excellent repas ! Grande qualité pour le service ainsi que les repas choisis ! On a adoré

Petit (très petit) bémol : nous avons pris un Kir royal en apéro. On ne le trouvait pas très pétillant. Nous n'avons rien dit. Nous en avons commandé un deuxième par la suite : & là, il était vraiment comme on l'aime. Donc notre premier était FLATTE.

On a tout de même adoré notre soirée !

My husband & I were visiting Quebec City from the US. In searching for a special place for dinner we found Chez Boulay-bistro boreal but had to wait 3 days for a reservation! It was worth waiting for. The meal was fantastic. We had an artic char appetizer which was presented beautifully & my entree was artic char over kale! My husband had the lamb shank over sweet potatoes for his entree, again, beautifully presented & the meat was very tender. We loved our experience! Excellent service. We will highly recommend this restaurant to our traveling friends. Thank you Chez Boulay Bistro!
