Vegan choices for mains & dessert but they're still the consolation prize, not amazing taste. The 1 non vegan dish I had, petoncles crus, scallops crudo, was out of this world just wonderful. Wine list was full but not highly varied to all tastes.

Merci pour le bel accueil de notre serveur Philippe & son service sympathique & courtois. Il nous a bien conseillé pour notre accord met /vin & super bien expliqué les plats. Les plats étaient bien présentés, bel équilibre des saveurs & recherche des mélanges original. Nous avons passé une très bel soirée !

This is not our first time eating in your restaurant however this time I was least impressed. Our server was extremely nice & she took good care of us. We were the first clients & it took awhile for someone to look after us but once our server was attributed to our table it was good. It was an extremely hot day & it would have been nice to have a salad on the menu as an entree. Also, the presentation was ordinary. I expected more from your establishment. The food was good, but there was no finesse. I expected a more refined presentation in keeping with the prices on your menu. It felt more like a meal for people on the run instead of a dining experience. I have always recommended your restaurant to many visitors but it was good for us to return to compare since we live in Montreal & do not have the chance to dine at Boulay regularly.

Ambiance sympathique. Menu du midi format table d'hôte avec choix de viande, poisson ou végétarien. Assiette bien présentée avec ingrédients locaux. Je recommande ce restaurant pour une repas de qualité & intéressant.
